Black Clover Golden Dawn Captain Novels & Stories

We didn't let the darkness win. END OF VOLUME ONE

Claudio has helped many people, especially his workers. Dark touched the inflamed doorknob and slowly opened it. Dark turned to Claudio a gaze of wonder over his face at the beautiful paradise across the door. "Great job, Boss G seems proud of you." Said Dark. Claudio took one look at Dark and looked through the door. "All right, get in," said Dark. Claudio looked at Dark one more time. "Thanks a lot." Dark nodded and Claudio went inside. When Claudio finally came through the door, Dark locked it. Claudio is one of those who brought to heaven today. Three of the ten had gone to the wilderness where you can't see anything.

The corrupted army answered with deafening howls. Captain Lyra lowered her eyes. "No..." Across the valley, the Primordial Darkness smiled. "I expected nothing less." --- Then... Another sound reached the battlefield. A slow, steady heartbeat. Boom. Boom. Boom. Golden light appeared inside the fading dust. At first it was only a faint glow. Then it grew brighter. Brighter still. Until it shone like the rising sun. Varkor's ears twitched. The smile disappeared from the Primordial Darkness's face. The golden light stepped forward.

As the men dragged the battered captive away, his sudden scream pierced the air, echoing off the damp walls of the abandoned building. “Aiden! Wait!” the man shouted, desperation lacing his voice. “You need to know more! The Serpent... he has people working for him, and they call themselves The Shadows!” Aiden paused, curiosity piqued. He turned back, narrowing his eyes. “What about The Shadows?” The man gulped, fear evident in his trembling hands. “They’re the ones who do the dirty work for him. They’re ruthless and merciless, and they’re looking for someone—someone named Vladimir Albert Darkclaw. He’s the one you need to be worried about!”

They sent out search boats and professional divers and worked through the night till dawn broke. "Found him!" someone called out. They pulled up the body I had arranged in advance. Only when the evidence was undeniable would Serena and Ethan truly believe I was dead. At the same moment, I was hauled up by the backup I’d arranged in advance. Gus walked over in long strides. "Caleb. Everything's ready. All that's left is waiting for them to walk into the trap." The sun rose slowly. Serena ripped out her IV and wrecked the hospital room. She refused treatment for her leg and insisted on going back to the place we had lived together.

" She said with a sigh. "Then some bitch named Stacey had to pick him up and take care of him. luckily I found out about my hired men's betrayal. I made sure that they were taught a lesson, this time I became wise and hired a professional spy who managed to trap Alex down." She said. "Wait Cleo, what happened to the guys who had betrayed you?" I asked seriously. "Uh, I killed them, and am going to do the same to you if you fail me again." she said with a smile that scared me.

She is still working on an unconscious Lothaire. Taking his condition to mind, Willow stepped out, arming herself to the teeth. She has everything that she may need on her now. That is... what she can carry. Dusk fell slowly, bringing the sense of doom with it. The sky turned a fiery orange as if alerting all underneath, it to be wary of this day before changing to a darker shade. "It's time," Willow muttered under her breath, standing straight, looking at the horizon as it slowly clouded with people.

Kael dropped to his knees. “Who?” he demanded. The captain coughed weakly. “They wore our colors… but their eyes… silver.” Silver. Not Frostveil gold. Not Ashmoor brown. Silver. Ancient. Mira inhaled sharply. “That’s the anger,” she whispered. Footsteps echoed at the far end of the hall. Slow. Unhurried. A figure stepped into the torchlight. Cloaked in Frostveil colors. Eyes gleaming silver. They smiled.

"Yes. Three arrows. Bullseyes only. Three points for blue. Two for red. Your best archer against mine. If Shadowclaw wins, you gain full access to the ridge for the entire rogue season." "And if Bloodmoon wins?" "We keep our borders closed and Shadowclaw stops pestering us about it until next year's summit." Fin didn't hesitate. "Done. Who will Bloodmoon put forward?" Balen lifted two fingers. A tall, seasoned captain stepped forward, white hair half tied back, bow in hand. "Captain Holt. Though I warn you, he's the finest archer in Varos." "A strong choice." "And who is Shadowclaw's best archer?"

The little girl looked at her mother. “Mommy…” Her voice was weak. “Help me.” Clover pulled against the chains. “I’m coming!” Kael raised his sword. “Together.” He drove the sword into the ground. Golden energy spread across the forest. Clover’s Eclipse Crown appeared. Silver and black energy surrounded her. The chains began breaking. CRACK. The Void stepped backward. “You cannot defeat me.” Clover pulled harder. “Maybe not.” CRACK. “But I can defeat what you made me believe.”
