Black Knife Assassin Sage Cave Mga Nobela at Kwento

"Mission report." With cold glacier eyes, the woman placed a folder towards the man sitting at the front of her. "Oh its done, well that was early." "I know." She simply responded before turning her back towards him and walked towards the door but before she could even get the chance to turn the handle she felt something cold piercing her stomach making it numb, looking down only to find a sword pierced from her back to her front and that's not all the weapon that pierced her was none other than her most beloved weapon which accompanied her from her thousands of massacres.

Van asked. He sounded than incredulous the pregnant chick had when she'd smelled it. Did they not like butterscotch? "And," Cade sniffed experimentally, "hazelnut?" And suddenly, I was prey, and they were the bloodthirsty wolves.

I slam into one of them and kick the other in the head, then twirl before the one with the knife can stab me in the neck. A gun cocking behind my head makes me stiffen. Nostrils flaring, I raise my hands and get ready to attack, but before I can, the man behind me falls unconscious onto the floor. Turning quickly, I spot one of my fellow Assassins, Phoenix, finishing off the last two men. The hallway looks like a war zone with unconscious bodies lying in various spots on the floor. As soon as the last man is down, we both face each other. “What are you doing here?” We both ask in unison.

Since I am not as fast as I used to be, thanks to the injury, I need to be lethal while dishing out my blow. I made my way into the party to see Cain speaking with the Lycan prince. Immediately, he saw me. He excused himself and made his way out of the room. I headed towards him. "Kay," Agnar called out the minute he saw me. He was surprised by the way I looked, but I couldn't possibly tell him that I was fighting assassins. "I will be right back, baby," I said, leaving through the same door. It was a little dark outside, but it was no problem for me as I could see clearly. I sniffed the air, and there was that cologne. He tried jumping on me, and I dodged him.

I murmured as Kaidon gave me a playful salute and left the room. Ten minutes passed, and I had barely laid down when the door to the room slammed open. I wasn’t expecting Kaidon’s aggressive entrance, so I jumped, a shriek slipping from my lips. My heart sank as I looked up, seeing Sage standing in the doorway. “Sage?” I asked, my voice trembling as I saw the knife in his hand and the tears in his eyes. Sage let out a shuddered breath, his hand shaking as he ran over to me and restrained me, pressing the knife to my throat. “I’m sorry,” he whispered in my ear. “I don’t want to do this, but Kaidon won’t listen.”

“Alpha Keal, you don't get to —” The sentence ended in a spray of blood as I surged at the sight of it. Keal moved without hesitation as his hand had barely flicked, and Darius’s body hit the ground, motionless. The others froze that instant, their eyes wide and then in a blink of an eye, they all scattered. I blinked, my heart was beating so fast as I watched the remaining rogues flee into darkness, leaving their dead scattered around. The scent of blood was very thick but I even barely noticed that because I was too focused on the man in front of me.

I kept my hand on his shirt and tried to stay awake. Outside the bar, Cassius placed me in the passenger seat and fastened the seat belt for me. Then he called the healer from his pack. “Prepare the medical room,” he said. “Sage has been drugged and wounded. I’m bringing her in now.” He ended the call and checked my pulse before starting the car. “Stay with me, Sage.” “I’m awake,” I muttered, though my eyes kept closing. “Tell me what happened before this.” “Several rogues attacked me,” I said. “The assistant’s car broke down. They came out after that. I fought them off, but I got hurt. Then the biker man appeared and said he would help me.”

The poison still swimming in his bloodstream had him dizzy and weak. The assassin sees this as defeat as they retreat into the darkness. “This isn’t over,” they warn as they run into the woods, and the duel is finally over. The pair could finally take a breather. They freeze when they hear a low whimper coming from the cave. “We need to be as quiet and non-threatening as possible,” Kaide tells Tazmin. He pushes himself as if Tazmin were gaining the strength to walk into the cave; it takes a second for their eyes to adjust to the darkness and a little light that pulls them into the cave.

“Vincent Sawyer.” The name landed with weight. Alexander drummed his fingers on the desk. As a prominent Alpha he knew most of the significant packs operating across North America, and the Black Crow’s reputation was specific and consistent — wealthy, ruthless, and led by a man with very few observable restraints. “Vincent Sawyer,” he repeated. “And the girl’s mother came from a small pack in Ohio.” “Yes. I can’t yet establish the connection between Honor and Sawyer directly, but—”

He agreed without asking for anything in return. "Clear," Denver's voice from the other line. What he meant by "clear" was that he had hacked the Grand Hotel's system and I could walk past the CCTVs that were no longer working. "Thanks. I owe you this one," I spoke softly to him. We can talk through my earing. My left earring is a high-tech microphone so I don't even need to hold a cellphone to talk to him. This is a very safe way to contact the other assassins especially when the mission is not a sole mission but a group.
