Assassin's Blade Kindle Novels & Stories

I said softly, “they should not slither where fire waits.” From the darkness, steel hissed free. And from the shadows behind them, Cassian moved. His sword flashed silver, cutting through silence with lethal grace. The first assassin lunged for me, only to be caught mid-step Cassian’s blade drove through his chest, the sound wet and final. The second spun, striking low, but I had already seized the fallen dagger. I caught his wrist, twisting hard. Bone cracked, and his weapon clattered to the floor. I drove my knee into his gut, sending him sprawling.

Blood pumped out immediately, blade fell to his knees, clutching the bloody sword with both hands. “You brat!”. He roared, pulling out the swords forcefully from Blade's stomach. He dropped dead. The other assassins tried running away, but flying arrows from nowhere struck them causing them to slump, some died while some were on the floor, groaning in pain and agony. “Get a blaze phone,I'm getting my money back”. That was when it dawned on me that he came with his men, armed men at that. One stormed from nowhere and picked Blaze's phone from the floor,he handed it over to the alpha, who started scrolling through it.

A shadow slipped through the ruins like a whisper Moving fast. Moving unseen. But Lyla was waiting. And the moment the assassin’s blade sliced toward her throat She moved. Faster than even she had expected. Faster than the assassin could react. Her hand caught the blade, shadows curling around her like a living thing. The assassin’s eyes went wide. Lyla smiled slow, merciless. “You took too long.” And then She struck. The assassin’s body hit the ground, blood pooling at Lyla’s feet. She exhaled slowly, wiping the crimson from her fingers.

He throws the body of the attacker off me like he's flinging a paper doll. They fly across the room and crash into the wall, the purple blade skittering across the floor. Tristan storms in and I hear the growl that rips out of his throat, "You picked the wrong fucking night." The assassin doesn't waste a beat. They sprint for the balcony. I watch the blade whizz through the air, pulled by an unnatural force, like a boomerang returning back into the attacker's hand. I scramble up, "Don't let her escape!"

Alex nodded, gripping her fists. Don Ramon approached and handed her the hard case and a laptop. He watched as she opened it, revealing a phone, a customized, automatic handgun, and some communication devices. He gave instructions on how to use the weapon as well as informing her that his number, along with his assigned man and father had already been encoded and the phone is encrypted and could not be trace if she will make a call.

The assassin's sword struck the sword, causing it to fall to the ground. The assassin turned to face her, their eyes meeting, but she could feel the rage radiating from him. She murmured, "Flarry sent you!" as she moved closer, drawing Arthur's sword, and engaging the assassin in combat. Arthur stood, unsure of whether to confront her. She flipped around and gave him two powerful kicks that knocked him to the ground. After that, she moved in closer and squatted down. "It is very easy to take your life here, I am the best assassin of all the packs. But you have to go back and tell Flarry not to try this shit again,” she whispered to him before turning away.

With every step, I drew closer to the reckoning that awaited at the heart of this fortress, the moment when the past and future would collide in a storm of steel and fury. As I rounded the final corner before the throne room, a sudden movement caught my eye—too swift and fluid to belong to any ordinary soldier. In an instant, a blade flashed, aiming for my side, but I twisted just in time, the steel grazing my armor with a harsh screech that sent a shiver down my spine. The assassin’s eyes glinted with cold fury, a mask of hatred and desperation etched into every line of their face. Our blades met with a violent clash, sparks flying in the dim light as we danced a deadly ballet of attack and

Then, gritting his teeth and swinging his arm to knock his assailant back, he shot through his ribs. But before he could recover, another person emerged from the darkness. A blade flashed towards his face. Nicholas barely dodged, the sharp edge close enough to graze his cheek. He fired a shot, but Adrian's men, his attackers, were already on the move and they were swift and threatening. Grabbing his wrist, one of them roughly twisted it. His gun fell out of his hand and clattered against the concrete that had been soaked by the rain.

Rhea pov. In the little candlelight, the disguised assassin's blade flashed, a silvery streak pointed directly at my throat. I barely avoided it, skidding across the chilly stone floor as my heart banged against my ribs. The deadly accuracy of my assailant was far more impressive than the blade I had snatched from under my pillow. I didn't have time to reflect or think. Only to relocate. “I will rip off your throat.” The assassin's hoarse voice intercepted the already bloody air.

I muttered caressing her neck and she made the mistake of baring it to me. My teeth elongated and I plunged them into her soft neck. I smelled her fear in the air but it was too late to stop me. My claws elongated, I used them to break her spine as I tore her throat open with my canines. Her blood oozed out soaking my tuxedo. The choking smell suddenly started fading while her lifeless body fell on the floor. I released a heavy breath. Goddess Luna, this felt better. Before I could go to the restroom, Aslan entered holding a plastic bag.
