The echoes lowered their blades. The scarred woman looked toward me. “Fate has already started moving.” The b lood moon pulsed. A black line crossed its surface like a crack. Cassian stopped fighting. His expression turned hard. “That is not a warning.” Raiken came to my side. “What is it?” Cassian looked toward the eastern horizon. Ships appeared beneath the red light. Black sails. Silver wolf emblems. Thousands of them. At the centre sailed a vessel built from white bone.

We would have to return to the beach. “Can’t you try another ritual?” I asked Loretta. “I don’t know how!” There was panic in Loretta’s voice. “I don’t know what to do!” Then there was a siren—a very loud, unpleasant siren. At first, I wondered if the siren was announcing our escape, or calling for backup. But then all the Mekrans froze and looked back towards the beach. The siren abruptly halted as one of the airships exploded. Salem had arrived.

And beside him, Claire, her hands clamped over her mouth, her eyes wide with absolute, screaming horror. "See you in hell," I whispered to the sky. And then the dark, freezing water swallowed me whole. [FADE TO BLACK] [END OF SEASON ONE]

He walked out of the cabin and was about to take over the task of steering the boat from Eira when water lapping sounds started coming from nearby at that moment. “Swoosh!” The seawater’s sounds were strange. Ambrose subconsciously looked to the sea. He was instantly stunned as what he saw made him shudder and gasped! Uh…uh… At that moment, Ambrose’s jaw dropped as he thought he was hallucinating. He then rubbed his eyes with a face full of shock! He saw thousands of sailing ships majestically sailing nearby on the sea. It was indeed more than a thousand of them! Those sailing ships were flying a black flag with a white shark embroidered on it. The contrast of the black and white was jarring

​The old first officer stepped up behind them, leaning against the column but his eyes burning with an unshakeable, historical vengeance. ​"You... you're dead!" Silas gasped, his face instantly turning a sick, bloodless white as his gaze darted from Vivian to Julian, and finally, locked onto the scarred face of his old first officer. "The Blackwater facility... Vane said you were secured!"

A strong hand clapped him on the back drawing his attention forward. “Look, see there!” Dean said, pointing to the Black sails coming around the corner. Gavin's first reaction was to grab a hold of Dean for touching him but paused. Gavin’s eyes spotted the ghost-like ship gliding across the ocean. It was still as haunting as the first time he laid eyes on it. It was a ship from nightmares but it was stunning. He spotted her golden hair as the ship drew near. The doom in his stomach fading slightly. The Evening Star pulled up alongside the Morning Star day and night at a stand still.
