A Contract With An Alpha

A Contract With An Alpha

Iris asked, voice tight. Vivian’s gaze dropped to the bottle still in Iris’s hand. Her eyes narrowed. “That’s not the cleansing blend,” she said slowly. “That’s… oh, I know that herb. Nightshade bloom. One of your more dangerous favorites, isn’t it?” “It was a mistake,” Iris said quickly. “I picked the wrong bottle and I am going to return it.” “Did you truly pick the wrong bottle?” Vivian stepped forward, voice low. “Because from where I’m standing, it looks a lot like the poison Evelyn asked you for.”

Mr. Vagrant & Ms. No Money

Mr. Vagrant & Ms. No Money

Cynthia had only smiled and told her the name of the powder, leaving her to look it up. When Hailey investigated, she was shocked and horrified. The powder was colorless and odorless, but it caused severe reactions upon contact with skin. It started with intense itching, leading to sores if scratched, and could result in fasciitis, eventually spreading throughout the body. The most dangerous aspect was that because the powder was invisible and scentless, the victim wouldn’t realize they were poisoned and would instinctively scratch, making it difficult to treat once the skin was broken. She had wondered why Cynthia had brought such a powder. Now, it was clear that if used on Isabella, she wo

Author, you’re very creative. The part where Lucius has prenatal depression, that’s a totally a fresh one and totally different from the novels I have read. A very refreshing one. Humour and creative. ...

Dear Author. Please can you strike a balance between the drama at the school and Isabella and Lucius? It gets really tiresome just reading of the endless schemes at the school without getting to hear about Lucius and Isabella as the title of the book is about them.

The Alpha's Freakshow

The solution the sprays on clear drips down from the side of the table in little pink splatters of water onto the musty white carpet, rendering the area around Billy’s feet completely pink and wet. “How is it going?” I ask anyone who will answer. “All the wolfsbane flowers have been removed,” Billy grumbles. “But, the oils from the crushed petals seem to form pustules when it comes into contact with the skin,” “Like poison ivy to humans?” I ask. “Exactly like that,” Dr. Sari says. She grabs a paper towel and walks to the bathroom, flushing it down the toilet, and cleans herself up. I toss her the question with my eyes and she shrugs.

Just finished reading this for the second time. It is such a great, well-written book! It is a wonderful departure from the "normal" werewolf story. It is truly one of a kind. I also especially love the raw emotions and character development.

I enjoyed this book but I felt the issue with his brother was left unresolved...not sure if that's going to be a separate book or not. abe was supposed to have a meeting with Wade but we didn't find out what happened. I will continue reading the wonderful books written by this author

Reborn As a Haier-Elvian

Reborn As a Haier-Elvian

At least there was still a good thing behind my misfortune. After gently slicing the mushroom stem, the pitch-black mushroom bag fell to the ground upside down. I saw a thick black sap spill dripping onto the ground. The soil surface immediately blackened and hissed as soon as it came into contact with the mushroom sap. My nape hair stood up as soon as I imagined the fluid touching my skin. Holy shit! Why did plants like that exist in this world? And how could such a dangerous thing be an ingredient for herbal medicine? I immediately shook my head. Trying to get rid of everything I didn't understand. Thinking about unimportant things would only waste time. My priority right now was to bring

THE SAVIOR LUNA

THE SAVIOR LUNA

Han moved to my side in order to have the full understanding of what happened earlier and how I ended up this way. “How did you come in contact with poison ivy?” she questioned. My eyes closed briefly before I answered that it was the handwork of Amy, even though I was not sure if Draco knew about it or not. I was expecting her to get furious but she was still as calm as ever, to my surprise, and that was actually more dangerous than when she acts out her anger. “She mixed it into the incense so I couldn’t quickly decipher it. She’s openly declaring war and must have gotten the fact that I am allergic to the flower through her grandfather because it was a family thing” I remarked, a sigh fol

Even After Death

Even After Death

Willow came up to her, gesturing, "Don't move. It's poisonous." Common poison wouldn't scare Olivia, but it could be rare poison. It was best to be cautious. "Okay, got it." Olivia was being very careful. After making sure that it wouldn't come into contact with her skin, she let her foot down. Ethan called someone over to fetch a full set of clothing and shoes for her. That kind of bug was definitely fatally poisonous. Just a single touch might expose one to danger. Before he came closer to her, he noticed that she had slowly lost her smile. Her expression seemed solemn.

Congratulations author! Such a nice plot of a novel about a woman’s saga on the romantic- love-hate realm. I cried a bucket for Olivia at the beginning of the story, but I admire the true love of Ethan for her at the later part. In this time and age, would there be such kind of love?

SECRET OBSESSION

SECRET OBSESSION

"The more you scratch or rub it in, the worse it will burn." "Like poison ivy?" "Poison ivy will make you itch. Dragon's Breath will make you peel your own skin off to make the burning stop." Looking around, Zel shook her head. "I don't have a choice, we both need to clean this off as soon as possible. There's a place nearby, but on foot it will take us too long to get there. Climb on my back." "Wait, what?" Zel rolled her eyes. "It isn't like anybody will see us do it, if that's what you're worried about. I don't feel like peeling my own skin off today, so I'm going with or without you. I can run way faster than you can."

Luna's Power

Sarah returned my gaze sharply. "The stems are not poisonous, just the petals and powder. You have a debt to me, so you have to pay it or do you want to die at my hands?!" I took a step forward looking at Sarah like she was her prisoner. Sarah, who was afraid of my threat, finally had the courage to take the blue poison ivy. Sarah really had to watch her steps, the path to the blue Poison ivy was filled with White Poison ivy which was no less poisonous.

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Aston stepped out of the infirmary before he returned in his hands, he was clutching a set of herbs that he placed in front of Levy and started grinding them in the pestle as he explained, “ Poison of ivy is like a bane for witches just like how silver reacts when it touches our skin—— but two times worse. Unlike silver that can be extracted with the help of healers' magical powers, the poison of ivy is something that sticks to the skin of witches and does not budge until it's forcefully ejected.”

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I really liked the start of the book but started flipping through chapters and there’s a lot of filler chapters saying the same thing and honestly 700 chapters is way too much..the story line is good but waiting for something to happen made me move on to a different story

Jace said as he kept looking over my shoulder. “Each plants does something different to the body. When mixed together, they do additional things. So, you mix poison ivy with mushrooms to create a paste. When that paste is applied, they will break out into a rash and have intense hallucinations. It takes a day or two for it to develop into their system so if you put it on the door handles….” “Thats…” Jace started.
