The desk was covered in swatches, sketchpads, crumpled paper, and an empty coffee cup.
She looked… small and pale.
My heart skipped a beat as I stepped closer. "Ivy, are you okay?"
She didn’t move, just murmured something about a "campaign launch… almost done…" before trying to sit up straighter.
Her voice was hoarse.
I reached out and touched her forehead and my jaw tightened instantly, she was burning up.
