It was as if by some twisted stroke of fate, all those villains were packed into one place. Alexander pondered whether he should play the hero and rid the world of those vermin.

A patch of black fur appeared on his chest, warm and smelling of pine. Kael’s wolf let out a strangled whine. The obsidian eyes flickered, a spark of amber fighting through the dark. "Amara..." his voice echoed in my mind, a ghost of a sound. The Widow shrieked, her silver thread snapping. She raised her hands, and the red feathers in her bowl erupted into a whirlwind of scarlet blades. "Kill them!" she commanded the shadows. From the gates of the Fortress, dozens of Salt Sentinels emerged. But they weren't alone.

I didn't respond. "I heard he had a female companion who handled his operations over the past few months," Isaac continued, his voice dropping lower. "She was always in the shadows, and she was the one who handled things when he didn't want to be seen. We called her ‘La Vedova Nera’ or ‘The Black Widow’." He looked at me then, for the first time since he sat down as he said, "Is that you?" My jaw didn't move, and my eyes stayed on the water. He stared long enough to understand that he wasn't getting an answer. His frustration gathered at the corners of his mouth, but he swallowed it reluctantly.

He was truly grateful that he met that woman otherwise he will never be able to experience such heaven. What was her name again? Aurelia King, the White Widow, a very dangerous woman who made him feel powerless. It was a good thing that he had his eyes on just one person and that was his little devious witch, Enchantia. Just like her name she enchanted him.

She quickly installed the sniping rifle, aimed the scope at the speedboats Liam was driving, and aimed her shot for his head. As she saw Liam's figure gradually get bigger in her scope, a burning passion for battle surged within her. That was the reaction a top fighter got when she met another top fighter. It was a long time since she met such a strong opponent. As Liam got closer, the desire to fight in Zana's eyes burned brighter. A crazy sneer appeared on her face as well. Zana was very confident in her ability. She accepted many missions and never failed. She was known as the Black Widow within the organization.

Zavian's eyes narrowed. Meredith's voice dropped lower. "I've seen death. Bodies piled so high they block out the sun. Blood running in rivers. Our kingdoms and realms burning. Our people slaughtered."
