Just walk out of your door around five in the afternoon and follow the crowd of demons. Anyone is welcome to come," I tell her, kind of surprising myself because only demons have ever attended the festival, but…fighting alongside one another tends to force a bond. At least in my mind

Streetlights cast golden pools of light along the way. At the end of the drive, massive iron gates stood open. Beyond them, Blackwood Manor rose like something from a dream. Or a nightmare. The main house was enormous. Three stories of classic architecture, all stone and tall windows. Wings extended from either side, creating a U-shape around a circular driveway with a fountain at its center. Lights blazed from dozens of windows, making the entire structure glow against the darkening sky. “This is…” I couldn’t find words. “Home,” Seraphina said simply. “For over two hundred years, this has been the seat of Nightfall Pack leadership.”

Halloween in Bluebridge is a big thing, it's bigger than Christmas. People decorated the trees along the pathways, front lawns were turned into creepy pumpkin fields. All the street lights were turned off, the only lights were coming from candles, torches, and the stars. People turned on minimum lights in their houses so the essence of Halloween can be captured throughout the whole town. It was a tradition that's been passed on from generation to generation. Bluebridge turned into a murderous ghost town for one night, and Charlene loved it so much.

Blessing walked along, extending a wave to the lean field hand, Shaw standing up on the hill as he went by. The orchard and adjoining pumpkin farm didn’t have many visitors on weekdays like today, especially here at the edges of town, but weekends would be getting busy now, with more and more family outings taking place amidst these scenic, rolling hills. It would stay that way through October and November, straight on until mid-December before tapering off at season’s end.

She winked and started riding ahead of them. "Come on, let us go. Bitch is crazy!" Piper sat properly in the car as Billy ignited the engine. When they got to the mall, they saw Willow's bicycle parked right outside. Then they alighted from the car and started walking toward the mall. At the outside of the mall was a huge scarecrow that had the head of a pumpkin. Billy hit the head of the pumpkin and it made Piper and Hazel laugh. "Come on, let us get the damn costume!" They entered the mall.

I added, and turned the laptop over to Blazer. "You must be at the Blackwoods Thanksgiving Celebration a week from now for Mr Blackwood's promise to take effect. Don't think of doing anything stupid." He said and hung up.

Would they be able to inspire others to join their cause? On the day of the Whispering Festival, the woods transformed into a vibrant tapestry of color and sound. Stalls were adorned with handmade crafts, local produce, and educational materials. Musicians filled the air with melodies that echoed the whispers of the forest, while dancers performed under the dappled sunlight, celebrating the beauty of nature.
