The Surrogate’s Blade

The Surrogate’s Blade

The Third Heartbeat had opened a jagged door in my nervous system—a terrifying, overclocked speed that made the falling dust look suspended in amber. I hit the first Harvester mid-crouch. My Phantom Blade, still warm with the copper-metallic blood of the man in the hall, found the soft seal beneath his helmet. I drove the needle in, feeling the pressurized snap of the suit’s life-support. My other hand slammed into his visor, discharging a localized EMP. Blue sparks bit into my palm, shorting his neural link. He didn't have time to scream before the tech cooked his brain. "Vitals spiking, Elena," Damian’s voice scraped over the intercom.

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

“Hey, I can’t do that to you. You guys are my best pals.” “You did it before, Gareth.” Cassandra pointed to the prophesy in the glass which was under her armpit. “The past is the past, okay. Besides, it doesn’t make any sense again. Since the emperor is dead.” “The emperor is dead?” Vera asked. “Oh you haven’t heard. Well, he is dead. Rumors are flying around that his son killed him.” “That is ridiculous. The Emperor has no son.” Vera chuckled. “How old are you, Watcher? Ten years? Do you want to tell me that you are the only one who didn’t know that the Emperor bore a son out of his immortality?”

Raven the lurker
I have gotten used to read female lead stories from her so this time when it is male lead it's quite a refreshing and interesting change up. The start is promising and very well written and it's not the typical type of a novel so give it a chance as this author never ceases from surprising you.

RISE OF THE EX WIFE : Mona's Revenge

RISE OF THE EX WIFE : Mona's Revenge

Chapter 136 The morning news hit Boston like an earthquake. Every television screen, newspaper headline, and internet article screamed the same devastating story: Richard Caldwell was dead, and Alexander Kane now controlled Caldwell Industries. Emily sat in the mansion's morning room, surrounded by newspapers scattered across the Persian rug. Her hands shook as she read the headlines over and over, unable to accept what her eyes were seeing. "CALDWELL DYNASTY ENDS: Richard Caldwell Dies, Transfers Company Control to Alexander Kane"

Martina : Wrath Of Dethroned Luna

Martina : Wrath Of Dethroned Luna

Rather he was a very understanding, and caring commander. Few months of struggle, I realised that Commander Loren was the fated Mate of empress not the emperor. The Emperor was a scum of a man who cheated on the empress with a vicious vampire female. It was satisfying to see former Emperor Noah getting beheaded . He was the cause of everything, he was the reason vampires were using werewolves to create new species hybrids. Soon after the death of the former Emperor, the Empress was crowned as Emperor of the Bliaviroth empire and remarried with commander Loren. I witnessed their lovely romantic times together. The Empress's hate for the commander turned into love .

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

He sat right next to the Emperor – he was seated left of the Emperor. “Do you think the Dark Kingdom’s recent attacks have been for naught?” another middle aged man answered the question with a question. He was a handsome man with a noble air. He resembled the twins Jake and John. This was their father and Grand Marshall of the Northern Empire – Sir Blunt. Few people in the empire knew his first name and those who did didn’t dare to speak it out loud. But it wasn’t out of fear, but respect. Although he was only a Grand Marshall, his words carried weight and his power was renowned. It was because of this middle aged man that the Eastern Empire had never been successful in their attempts to as

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

My Mate Has Two Wolves

My Mate Has Two Wolves

It was heartless and despicable. "I never expected him to go this far. Perhaps he thought I was useless and, since I was bound for prison, he decided to discard me to that man. Blake, I've contemplated suicide countless times, unable to bear my filth, but I hesitated because I wanted to apologize to you and see Richard punished," Emily wailed, her tears streaming uncontrollably. Blake asked coldly, "Who is that man?" "Baldwin Waleri," Emily replied instantly. Blake recognized the name. Baldwin was a merchant with minor oil resources, boasting undue influence in the business world. He hadn't expected Richard to ally with him so swiftly.

Sold To The Hybrid King

The casket was the only thing I could pay attention to. “Forgive me for saying this at a time like this, your majesty, but I just could not help but be suspicious. I hadn’t seen Blade since the night we attacked his brother’s kingdom,” Minister Apollo said. My forehead creased. “What are you talking about? Who’s Blade? I don’t remember anyone with a name like that when we invaded the vampires’ domain.”

The Fake Empire

The Fake Empire

Did I plan a future with Lydia because I knew I’d never meet Teigan? Is that why I feel so guilty towards Lydia? I send her elderly parents’ money, I paid off their house and made sure they were taken care of by a chef and a housekeeper. They had Lydia when they were in their forties. And were nearing seventy now. And she was their only child. It was my job to take care of them. Since she couldn’t be there for them, I needed to be there for them. A part of me blames myself for her death. She’d called me that night, but we’d gotten into an argument before I left and I was busy so I didn’t get to her call. If I’d answered that call would she still be alive?

another replied. A woman’s voice this time. “I heard he walked away,” she added. “Everything.” A scoff. “You believe that?” “I’m serious. The empire—gone. Handed over.” My fingers tightened around my phone. “That man?” the first officer said. “He was the empire.” “Not anymore,” she insisted. “He stepped down. Abdicated. Said he wanted out.” The word echoed in my head. Carlino? My chest felt strange. Tight. Light.
