“AUGH! STOP PLEASE HAVE MERCY!” Mr. Travis called out in pain as the micro wind blades cut through him. Even as a practitioner, he had no defense for such treatment. Blake waved, and the void cut was sealed, leaving Mr. Travis gasping for breath. He seemed to have entered hell, his flesh being stripped away atom by atom.

I know it as I’m making it. The silence presses in. I hear nothing but my own breathing. Nothing heavy crashing through brush the way something his size should. Then the air behind me shifts. He’s there. Close enough that I feel his heat before I see him. I don’t retreat. The thought flashes sharp and clear, and I ignore it just as fast. I spin and strike hard, both blades driving forward with everything I have behind them. Without hesitation. A killing move.

Their house all together is massive. At the front of the couch were a big flat screen Tv which Angel's Pun Party was written on it. It kept doing different fonts design of the name of the party on the screens. At the side of the TV, was the spot where the Dj were. The Dj was playing "Party scatter" by Fireboy. It seemed as though, the Dj were even ready and more energetic and excited than the owner of the party when people started coming as he quickly switched on to another song smoothly that people that were coming in were nodding their heads as they come in with their babes, some with their friends and some singlehandedly.

I surged forward, my movements fluid, faster than I thought possible, the fire blades singing through the air. Our blades clashed—not metal to metal, but fire to steel. Sparks erupted around us, a shower of molten gold and silver, illuminating our movements. Our dance was fast, furious, violent, a dizzying blur of offense and defense. He pushed me hard, his movements precise, calculated, but I held my ground, meeting his every thrust, every parry, my own movements sharper, more instinctive than the last. The fire blades pulsed with every deflection, every blow.

We'd just gotten started, and yet I was already shaking like a leaf from the force. Julius didn't say anything. He just pinned me down, his hips thrusting into me like a powerful engine. Occasionally, he'd flip me over. This made me feel as though I were a fish being flipped repeatedly on a frying pan. "Stop it…" I panted out, my vision already blurred by tears. "That's intriguing. I might just take you up on that offer sometime." Xaire, on the other hand, leaned forward, her interest piqued. "You have blades, too? I lost my favorite set during my last mission. I've been meaning to get a new one." Khein nodded, his gaze meeting Xaire's. "Absolutely. I have a collection of high-quality blades. I can show you some designs, and if there's a specific style you're looking for, I can get it customized for you." Xaire's eyes sparkled with anticipation. "You can customize them?"

I took one of my blades and stabbed him on his right shoulder. Let me let you in on a little secret, my blades are silver and I soaked them with wolfsbane making it harder to heal. “You f*cking b*tch! What did you–” I laughed, cutting him off. I’m sure I sounded like a deranged psycho. He lounged trying to punch me with both arms swinging. Blocking each one I kicked him in the stomach grabbing a hold of his left arm and twisting it. I didn’t let go. He was seething and foaming at the mouth, I b*tched slapped him with my right hand. “Don’t look at me! I didn’t permit you to.” I whispered-yelled. “F*ck you!” he yelled.

, a hundred blades suddenly elongated into three foot lengths of blue light. “Light sabers!” Jasmine gasped, her eyes enormous. Jayems’ eyes flicked to her briefly. “Energy blades. Blue Death.” He returned his attention to the fray. Faced with a solid wall of lightning, the riders sheered off, shouting blood curdling war cries as they tossed glowing white balls into the mass of soldiers. Unless struck from the air with a sword, dazzling white light exploded where they hit, coating the soldiers with glowing powder. Only one grenade struck, and those soldiers immediately removed from the field.

The silver hair bloomed under the faint moonlight peeping through the leaves, reflecting pale light like threads of metal. I could not see his face clearly, but the sight of his broad back alone made my breathing hitch slightly. My heart started hammering inside my chest. "Don't fall in love," Moon warned. "I am not," I whispered quickly, though my pulse refused to calm down. My attention immediately shifted to his wound. A dagger had been driven deep into his back shoulder. The blade glinted faintly beneath the moonlight. Even from this distance, I could recognize the dull gray coating along the metal.

My attention moved to Zac, who was standing directly beside me. “His wings might not look harmful now, but he can make blades appear in the place of a feather. The blades can cut through practically anything, as easily as cutting paper. Even if a blade cuts a God, it might not directly kill them, but it would become a mortal wound, which could become fatal.” Xureus responded, not bothering to keep his voice low as Zac had. “And here I thought you forgot about me.” Leroy smirked at Xureus and stepped forward. “By the way, how is the family? Oh, wait. I forgot, they were killed.”
