“What's going on?” “I think you guys should clear out.” Lucy rose from her crouch and motioned for us to leave. “Let me handle this, okay?” I stayed put for a moment, but it was clear that our presence was making Blair very frightened. She looked on the verge of passing out again, so I grunted in assent and followed Blake out of the bathroom, shutting the door behind me. “She was very lucky you came along.” Blake stood, arms crossed watching the shut door. He had a troubled look on his face. “But what in god’s name is a vamp doing in these parts? They usually stick to their area over at Mead.”

“But if you could return me there, I’d be grateful. I’m sure my husbands are looking for me.” He laughs before putting goggles on and shaking his head. There is a body on a gurney in front of me. She has large white and blue wings and very pale skin. She looks a bit like a butterfly, a cabbage white, but in humanoid form. A pixie. Robert's vision broadened in shock, an image flashed through his mind as his whole body shook in anxiety. They’re able to survive on their own, not protected by any packs or any of their covens. The spell that she had over you was probably fool proof.” She’s about to respond but we reach the witch’s cottage. I pull her up the stairs with me and knock on the door. Blair answers immediately. “Alpha! Come in, please.” she says while stepping aside. I enter her house, I’ve been here plenty of times, so I’m expecting the overwhelming scent of all her herbs that are drying on the counter. She leads us past the kitchen and to her office.

I'll hold it off—" A blur moved before me and slammed into the rogue, sending it tumbling backwards across the field. Blair. She spat a glob of blood into the ground, smirking wickedly. "That one's mine. You two go and find those bastards!" She charged off towards the now recovering rogue, and shifted into a wolf with brown and gold fur.

Sitting down behind his desk Daniel clasps his hands together and eyed me. "Tell me who burned Raija's cottage to the ground," he said. Gritting my teeth I huffed. "It wasn't the twin Alphas. You know as well as I that our wolves won't destroy our pack lands. It had to be those witches. They had been there that night before we left and put black rune marks on her porch and a crystal mobile that confused my wolf.
