Victoria explained explicitly. "Aunt, is it Domino Shelton?" Blake asked curiously and Victoria replied with an affirmative nod. "Aunt!" Blake called out in disbelief, confusing Chloe. "What? I didn't even go to him! He was the one that offered and I couldn't turn him away either." Victoria tried to look innocent. Chloe knew the name well, not for the reason Blake knew him but because, "Shelton Law Firm? Father's lawyers are from that firm too. Are you sure this will work?"

Right beside his pillow, his cellphone was lying. Her eyes sparked suddenly in a wicked thought. There was only three days left before the ceremony of National Award. The head of judges, Mr.Shelton was Blake's close friend and once business partner. Later they changed business and went on different paths. Victoria's restless mind couldn't avoid the temptation. Walking over to Blake's side, she confirmed first that Blake was deeply in sleep. Grabbing the cellphone, she unlocked the phone with his fingertip and scrolled through his contact list. As the name of David Shelton appeared on the screen, her face beamed in happiness.

Before I could argue my daughter began fussing. I picked her up and started rocking her gently. "Soon little girl. You'll see your perverted mate soon, Angel." I teased. "What?" Blake asked like he actually cared about her. "Don't think that because of today you have any right to them. Don't even look at the child you planned to terminate before she took her first breath." Blake looked down ashamed then moved to the end of the truck. He might have acted like our Alpha today, but it wasn't enough to wipe away his sins. He would never know his daughter, or his sons.

With a steady voice, she revealed, "You are my biological daughter, Nina Catersville." Hayley's frown deepened, her confusion evident as she exclaimed, "What?!"

"Who dares cause trouble at my daughter's birthday party?!" Jess looked as if she had seen a savior and immediately rushed toward him, crying. "Aaron! You're finally back! This bitch hit us! Save us!" Clarisse cried out as well, "Daddy! This bad woman bullied Mommy and me! Punish her and that illegitimate child!" Under everyone's gaze, Aaron slowly turned his head, and his eyes locked onto me.

Blake questioned as he emerged from my daughter's room. "What happened? Daisy was worried as the voices were getting louder. And why were you cursing my friend Zayn?" Blake added, walking over to where his wife was sitting and joining her. He was directing to Jason. I felt like burying myself in the ground, concluding that I was already caught since Daisy, my daughter, noticed the commotion from her room. I thought she was coming out with Blake. She might even tell Jason that Zayn is her real dad since she saw us together in bed and hadn't seen me and Jason in such an act.

She began to walk toward me, her arms folded defiantly. “Is there something you want to tell me, Brielle? Because it appears you're carrying quite an attitude.” “And is this your daughter?” a thick, masculine voice echoed from behind. I watched my mother’s hardened expression instantly melt into a bright, practiced smile as she glided over to the man. “Blake, meet my daughter, Brielle.” She beamed, tucking her head against his chest. The name Blake rang a bell, but I still couldn't figure out where I’d seen him. He really did look like someone famous.

I repeated, my voice breaking. Amara. Our daughter. The truth. You knew. And I didn’t. Or maybe… I refused to see it. I collapsed into the chair beside his bed. My hands covered my face. “Amara is our child,” I whispered brokenly. The words tasted like fire. Blake’s chest rose unevenly. Tears streamed down his face. “We treated her so badly,” I cried. My shoulders shook violently. “She begged me, Blake… she cried… she held my hands…”

“My daughter is not above the law, do you understand?” Travis Shuler was on the other end of the conversation when he heard a familiar voice coming from the radio. “If you invade my property, I will not be responsible for the casualties.” The voice said clearly, even through all the noise coming from the other side, making Travis Shuler’s eyes widen in shock. ‘Was he not dead?’ Was the only thought that went through his head, and a shiver went down his spine. “BLAKE, YOU.
