Bonnie sighed picking a milk carton and felt the writing on it. She sighed when she couldn't feel anything. When she turned around, she suddenly bumped into someone, the milk bursting open and spilling all over the person.

Layla continued to dig through her box. There were medical journals. Some of them had bookmarks in them. Layla turned one journal to a bookmarked page. The article was by Damien. She knew he had written a few articles for medical journals and magazines. She had asked to read them a few years ago, but he wouldn’t let her. He was too shy. Then again, he probably thought she wouldn’t be able to understand them. Most of what she skimmed looked like medical gibberish to her.

My reasoning is because I was focusing on finishing off high school, had to deal with graduation and family matters, and most of all I was unmotivated and I have been. Yes, I know it sounds like an excuse but I'd rather write Blinded when I'm motivated rather than write crappy chapters that I don't enjoy writing. So for the month of June, I'm going to take a break from writing, find some sort of motivation, and overall figure out what direction I want Blinded to go. They stepped back, wondering how a child had managed to crawl all the way out despite the layers of concrete weighing them down.
