HE REJECTED ME, SO I TOOK HIS CROWN

HE REJECTED ME, SO I TOOK HIS CROWN

If a single delicate petal was crushed, it released a completely odorless, skin-absorbent neuro-paralytic toxin. "Step only on the grey gravel," I whispered back to Silas, ducking fluidly beneath the weeping, trailing vines of a massive willow tree. "Do not let that sap touch your skin. It will permanently blind a Lycan in four seconds. And for the love of god, avoid the damp soil near those white ferns." "You're fucking terrifying, you know that?" Silas muttered under his breath, his eyes wide as he meticulously placed his heavy boot exactly into the footprint I had just left behind. "You turned a royal greenhouse into a biological minefield."

My Lustful Arrangement With The Hockey Player

My Lustful Arrangement With The Hockey Player

Just how I liked it. By the time I finished, my scalp burned slightly, a prickling reminder of the lengths I was willing to go. I washed my hands, the cold water soothing against my skin. As I rinsed off the bleach, droplets splattered against the porcelain sink, swirling down the drain. Then a honk startled me. Short. Loud. Annoying.

The Luna's Second Chance Mate

The Luna's Second Chance Mate

Plopping onto the sole cathedra, I was tapping my hands on the arms. "It's pretty simple. I want you to search for an antidote for poison hemlock." I finally broke the thick air of silence that enveloped the living room. Jackson who stood in front of the small fleet gathered whipped his head up so sharply I thought it would snap, his straight brows arched. "Poison hemlock? Those are deadly. But we don't know of the antidote." He replied with a curt bow. "Annalise says it's Melathionapalm. It's in the woods, it's a bluish green plant found near our hunting grounds." I said again, leaning into the chair. "You have two days to find it. Jackson, you stay here."

I wish it were you

I wish it were you

Annabelle told him that the blade must have been coated with poison. She had noticed a particular scent earlier in the morning, but at the time, the strong smell of medicine and blood had masked it. “What kind of poison is it? Do you know?” Kendrick asked. Annabelle nodded and explained that this type of poison was commonly used on concealed weapons and blades. Ordinary disinfection methods wouldn’t be enough to remove it completely. Even if only a small amount remained in the wound, it would cause continuous tissue necrosis, preventing the injury from healing properly.

Sweet poison

Sweet poison

I knew I fucking needed a bath, but I wasn't sure of what to expect, what if I get vaporized or something. “I will get you something to put on when you are done,” she said breaking into my thoughts. I took off the stupid shoes that had my legs all bruised up and walked into the bathroom, I turned on the shower after which I took of the tiny garment that wrapped my skin like glue. I removed my wig before letting myself into the hot streaming water, the water ran through my face which turns brown due to the heavy makeup I had on as it drops on my body. My mind drifted to the reason I was here in the first place, and how I was going to do everything humanly possible to bring down the monster th

The Golden Prince and his Witch, Book 2

He says in between gasping through the pain. “Can I ask if this tree has small apple looking things on it?” He nods, I turn to the healer “Manchineel, also known as the tree of death. The sap is what is causing this blister like effect around the wound” I say pointing to the area I am speaking about. “The problem is we can’t leave any trace of it inside the wound so we will need to flush it and the area already infected from the sap must be cut away” her eyes go wide before she starts to shout orders to the other healers.

I can’t remove his smell — that will take days — but I clean enough to think clearly. When I return to the room, I open the backpack they didn’t find (hidden under the bed, behind the headboard). Inside: the small bottle of poisoned lotion I prepared months ago, before the cruise. Aloe vera base, with concentrated oleander extract and other substances that Luka, unknowingly, helped me research during our conversations about “chemistry.”

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Aston stepped out of the infirmary before he returned in his hands, he was clutching a set of herbs that he placed in front of Levy and started grinding them in the pestle as he explained, “ Poison of ivy is like a bane for witches just like how silver reacts when it touches our skin—— but two times worse. Unlike silver that can be extracted with the help of healers' magical powers, the poison of ivy is something that sticks to the skin of witches and does not budge until it's forcefully ejected.”

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I really liked the start of the book but started flipping through chapters and there’s a lot of filler chapters saying the same thing and honestly 700 chapters is way too much..the story line is good but waiting for something to happen made me move on to a different story

His Playmate

His Playmate

I let out a sharp breath and pushed the bedsheet away. “I really thought it was dye, I promise.” I defended myself, though not with much confidence, feeling quite confused. I truly believe that was bleach. I believed it was simply the natural shade of blue that would make it appear whiter. “Take a look,” she said, pulling out the bleach she had brought and opening it for me to see. It is nearly colorless, much like water. I trembled in disbelief; this was worse than anything I had ever experienced.
