Talia POV Blood splatters across my face, and I scream, turning my head away as I drop to my hands and knees again. I smell vomit, bullets, and blood, that sweet scent of marshmallow pancakes was long gone now. Another shot is fired, and I fall flat, my hand sliding in something wet and slippery. I scream, and when my scream ends and the sound of bullets is an echo, I roll onto my back, my head heavy, vision fading as I realize something. The thing that terrifies me more than anything else. Ethan has stopped screaming.

The blue was deepening, darkening, bleeding into a vibrant, glowing violet. I froze, gripping the sink until my knuckles cracked. Violet. "No," I whispered. "No, no, no." The Glambour forest, also known as the Devil's vale was situated in the western part of Patasia continent with mysterious supernatural secrets. lt was the earlier meeting place of different nations but now everyone was scared to cross that place due to it's dark secrets. History saying that hosts, sightings of the reaper, wolf packs gathering, vampire hideaways–all present in this forest at one time. Popular rumour about the forest was the paranormal activities of the non human creatures of there. Valen’s POV Blood. It was everywhere. It pooled in the grooves of the stone floor, dark and thick. My claws were stained a deep, messy crimson. Why was there so much?
