“No matter what you say, you’re giving that blood!” Clara snapped, grabbing my wrist and hauling me toward the blood-drawing room. She dragged me two meters before I stumbled to my feet. I clung to the doorframe and begged, “My friends live close by; they can be here soon. Please, just let me call them. I really can’t give blood. I’ll miscarry!” Clara slapped me hard. “Enough! You meet the criteria, so stop stalling. I don’t buy your stories. And if you do miscarry, fine. That means fewer kids fighting with Tricia over the family fortune.”

*Blair’s Point of View* --- Phew, that was close! Fudge, she almost caught the mop cleaning the floor behind me. I looked at their work, and it's a fudging mess. The brush is inside the toilet bowl. The content of the bleach is all over the floor, the mop is lying dead on the floor, and everything is misplaced.

Kate POV With my Alpha blood I was able heal the claw marks quickly. They were a little red but nothing that wouldn’t be 100% healed by tomorrow morning. I reflected on Rafe and his instability and wondered what we would do as a punishment. That would have to be for tomorrow to be decided.
