Stranded on an Island with Mr. CEO

Stranded on an Island with Mr. CEO

"Yes, sir." He started the engine, and we entered the New York traffic. I watched the city lights blur into streaks of white and red. Before long, the pavement turned to sand-swept roads. We arrived at the quiet stretch of coast near Astoria. I didn't wait for the driver to open the door, I stepped out and walked toward the dunes. The moon was high, casting a silver path across the dark Atlantic. I looked out toward the waves, my breath catching in my throat.

Absolutely LOVED this book so much. Each day, I looked forward to reading this story!! I normally wait to read the book until I have all the characters opened before reading. Your story had me hooked on the very first chapter and couldn’t wait to start reading long before all chapters were opened!!!
Kimberly
What a treat to read a story like this. The characters felt like real people with real emotions and there was just enough suspense and action to keep this love story interesting. Something of a unique tale for this app.

Fated to the Ruthless CEO

Fated to the Ruthless CEO

She has seen countless sunsets before but nothing prepared her for the scene right in front of her. The sun, in its graceful descent, cast a warm, golden glow across the horizon, creating a seamless fusion of orange and purple hues that adorned the sky like an artist’s brush strokes. The tranquil water mirrored this celestial display, as if the lake itself sought to pay homage to the celestial spectacle above. The gentle ripples on the surface caught the myriad colors, transforming the water into a living canvas of shimmering reflections.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Emerald water rolled in from the shore, curling into thick, pale pink foam as it broke. I was in an impossibly good mood. If the sea hadn’t been moving, I might have believed time had actually stopped. Ashton stood beside me, looking down with a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. ‘It’s just us here.’ I turned to him. ‘This place is stunning. I’ve never been anywhere this beautiful. This honeymoon was so worth it.’ Ashton’s expression softened with a flicker of smug satisfaction. He raised an eyebrow. ‘So is this the part where we act like the leads in a cheesy romance drama? You run along the beach and I chase after you?’

As up to now the book would be 3 Stars. It is declining severely. Dragging with baby stories that don’t add up to the story just for adding characters and taking our money. Definitely stopping. Huge dissapointnent. Good until chapter 380

This author is one of the best writers I have ever read! I love her discripted writings. She has captured the scenes' and characters' feelings with flair and accuracy. I hope to read other books by this author.

The Aqua Prince

The Aqua Prince

" She said still maintaining the look, but this time she used her two fingers to make a quotation mark. "Isn't it obvious? I'm an Aqua-being" "ha ha haha! Aqua-being..... Which simply means you are a mermaid, sorry, merman, right?" Mom mockingly said. "Yeah! That's right. That's what your kind call us". Dad said as he still stares into her eyes. "You are a very funny person, I'm sure you already know about that, right?" She said this time she blushed because her eyes have caught the gaze of the stranger yet again. His eyes were alluring, so blue, and the craziest part was that he kept staring at her deep in the eyes, which drove her nuts.

Black Lace

Black Lace

Each hue is made more pretty by the brilliant white of the crests, drawing the eye away from the cloudless sky. The cool water laps at her feet, fizzing and bubbling like brine. Even though the sun is beating on her back, beaming in her eyes, she can't help but smile as the wind caresses her face. Waves ahead roar and roll down, crashing onto the shore with a soft hiss; peeling away at the deep bronze sand beneath her feet. Without hesitation, she plunges into the blue-green water. A chill surges through her, but a small wave washes it away.

A Slave for the Alpha King

A Slave for the Alpha King

Aliyah "What if we build a cabin here, right by the water? We could wake up to this view every morning," Ashton whispered, leaning his ears closer to mine. "I've read that those houses near the water are the most peaceful and have a calming effect on the mind. I laughed, saying, "As if Jadeisles isn't surrounded by water and serenity already. But I have to admit, waking up to this view would be a dream come true." I could already imagine the peaceful mornings spent sipping coffee on the porch and listening to the gentle lapping of the water against the dock.

ASHLEY or ASTRID

Ashley attended the swimming class twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday. On July fourteenth of the same year, Ashton celebrated his first birthday party as a married man. Archer helped him organize the party at the Harrington Clubhouse, the place where Karl had his wedding before. All AG Atelier employees were invited to the party and the venue that night was filled with a lot of famous fashion designers and models from AG Atelier.

Stay the Night

Stay the Night

Blake Exactly two hours later, Aston and I were walking down to the beach together. It was a beautiful day, made even more so by the radiant girl beside me. She was dressed casually in a blue sundress and sandals with shiny little studs on them that caught the light as we walked. We didn’t hold hands, but she stuck close enough to my side that I could smell the vanilla scent of her shampoo. She peered up at me, rose gold framed sunglasses covering her eyes. “So, want do you want to do first on your clear-your-head party?”

Twenty Seven Days

Twenty Seven Days

5:45 PM. The sun was finally setting over the harbor, casting a deep, amber-and-violet glare across the water that turned the hulls of the passing cargo tugs into long, dark silhouettes. The air was crisp, carrying the sharp, salt-heavy scent of the Atlantic mixed with the distant, familiar hum of city traffic coming from the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway below.

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

She'd want the air, the view, the decompression after a long day of performing competence in a room full of people who are also performing competence. Celeste is leaning on the railing, looking at the water. She doesn't look at me when I appear beside her. She simply registers my presence and adjusts slightly—makes room without making it a gesture. I lean on the railing too. The stone is warm from the day's heat, even at this hour, and the humidity wraps around us like a blanket. Below us, the harbor is black and glittering, cargo ships moving slow in the distance, their lights low and steady.
