Keeping my expression blank, I turned to meet her green gaze. "What do you take me for?" I drawled. Her lips curled up into a smirk. "My bad. Yes, you're the ladies' man. But, I want you to bear this in mind. From this point onwards, you belong to me. Only me" I looked away, amused. If only she knew. "Astoria, go home"

“Yes?” Without another word, Astor moved closer, his hands gently resting on her shoulders. His touch was warm, comforting. He turned her around to face him, his hand cupping her cheek as he gazed into her eyes. “I’m so proud of you,” he whispered, his thumb brushing gently over her skin. Charlotte smiled, feeling the warmth of his touch as her heart fluttered. “Thank you. This moment, this recognition, it means everything to me.” Astor’s eyes softened as he leaned down, his lips brushing against hers in a slow, tender kiss. It started soft and slow, but as their connection deepened, so did the intensity of the kiss.

Before she stands and looks down at me. “Thank you for everything you that and Lykos have done for me, but it is time for me to go.” I sit there blinking at what she is saying. I stand and follow after her. “Asteria, it doesn’t matter if you don’t feel the bond. We do. You are ours, Asteria. You aren’t going anywhere.” I walk to her and slam my lips on hers and push her against the wall. She moans into my mouth, her hands moving to my hair, and I lick the seam of her lips. She opens her mouth and my tongues slips in and I kiss her slowly and passionately. My tongue gently massages against hers. She moans again and I smile as I deepen the kiss before pulling back, panting hard.

He whispered, pulling my palm to his lips, and placing a kiss on the crescent moon that marked me as his mate. The ever-present electricity between us thickened as his lips brushed against my mark, setting my body aflame with need. I heard Aro's breath hitch and knew he was burning with me. I threw one leg over his hips and began to slowly grind into his growing bulge, stoking the flames between us. A low moan escaped him as he brought his lips to mine. I eagerly allowed his tongue entrance, my own demanding more. I released a soft whimper when he pulled away.

"We are not family, Astoria," he growled softly, his eyes dropping to my lips, heavy with a promise that made my stomach flip in a dizzying mix of fear and intense craving. “We never were.”
