I grinned. "You are right," he chuckled and sat down on the couch where I was sitting a while ago. He was ready to insert the key when I interrupted him. "What's inside that box, anyway?" He stopped and stared at me. He let out a deep sigh before opening his mouth to speak. He's serious. "A map," he started. "A map that could lead you to where a powerful dagger will be located. His gaze dropped to my hand, his eyes narrowing. "Where is it?" he asked. I stared at him, my voice ice-cold. "I broke it—by mistake." "What?" Kelvin's eyes widened in disbelief. "You even shattered it? Do you have any idea what that ring was? My mother inherited it from my grandmother—it's the symbol of the Luna in our pack! And you broke it?!" His claws extended sharply, and for a moment, I thought he might actually attack me.
