’ Smiling, the priestess continued as she recited the blessing. “Blessed be your breath; may you breathe deep as you take in power. Blessed be your eyes as they look to the future and the skies. Blessed be your ears as you listen to the world around you and the moon goddess to guide you. Blessed be your tongue as you speak only truth and taste only the sweetness of life. Blessed be your hands as you grasp what the world and moon goddess provide. Blessed be your feet as they carry you through this world and the next.” Stepping back, Imogen handed the infant to Emmeline who held her close.

I ask, unmoving. "It is said that when a blue moon appears during the marking of a new mate, it is the moon goddess herself blessing your bond. Your bond will now be as strong as it is for true mates!" My eyes widen, 'really? Is that even possible?' I think to myself, but as the blue light of the full moon washes over me, I can feel a higher power within it blessing us. Closing my eyes, I breathe it in, welcoming and thanking the goddess for her blessing. When I open my eyes again, I see Leroy gazing back at me, waiting for me with a beautiful smile. Bringing my foot closer to his lips without breaking eye contact with me, we say in unison,

What if this would hurt her growing child. “It will not.” The goddess whispered. Nora took a breath and placed her other hand inside the goddess. A small burst of the same power flowed through her. The goddess then leaned forward and placed her lips to Nora’s forehead. Nora felt warmth flow through her and something divine. She couldn't describe it but she instantly felt peace and power all at once. “Nora, I place my blessing on you and your child.” The goddess whispered as she let go of one of her hands and placed it on Nora’s stomach.

“You need not ask, I need not tell. I am what I am. I come when it is time for a chance to be given and blessings to be imparted.” Journee blinked and lo! She was back in her room. “Wha…t…” I see Ma’oz in meditation on my bed, me tucked in the corner, almost falling off. Thank you, Spirit of Chance and Blessing! Journee was eternally grateful and deep in her heart, she promised to love and remember the spirit for all her life. She came when I needed someone, and she brought me out of my hellish trap. “You didn’t have to do that!” Journee snapped at Ma’oz and shoved him off her bed.

“You’re welcome ma. It’s nothing.” “It’s not nothing. It is something! The air itself seemed to bend away from her. "Tamara?" Kai called out, reaching for her. She looked at him. No recognition in those silver eyes. He was just another shape. Another piece of this broken world. "THE BRIDGE SEES ALL. THE BRIDGE FEELS ALL. THE BRIDGE WILL END ALL SUFFERING." "That's not Tamara anymore," Derek said quietly. "That's the Lunar Blessed. The transformation is complete." Through the mate bond, Kai felt... nothing. The warm presence that was Tamara had gone cold. Like touching ice. Like reaching for someone who wasn't there.

It’s true how one can’t simply understand how a higher being understands… When her emotions subsided, she felt the mysterious power inside her withdrawing before she could feel anything at all. Mallory looked at her reflection, and as expected, she returned to normal. Mallory assessed the situation. Based on what happened, only strong emotions can activate the Blessing. She frowned her brows. “That is inconvenient. What if I need it but can’t muster the needed emotions? But, probably after my birthday, I can use it freely.” She can only hope for something like that. Maybe if she can officially get the Goddess’ Blessing from the ritual, she can finally own it.

I advised. I summoned the power granted by the goddess. This blessing would enhance their speed, strength, senses, and overall abilities, giving them a crucial edge. The next day, we reached the border of the territory. Sneaking into the area was challenging, but I managed to kill a few rogues guarding the entrance to the underground prison. The sight of me seemed to bring hope to the people of this territory. "Our Luna!" they called out. I liberated them, healed the region, and they appeared rejuvenated. The goddess’s blessing had worked wonders.

He approached both warriors and used magic to mark a little praying-for-blessings sign on the back of each man's right hand. The crowd remained silent throughout the process. I could feel some glances directed at me. Leaving a praying-for-blessings sign on the back of a warrior's right hand was how Alphas showed their appreciation for their right-hand Betas. Understandably, my father's actions indicated that he had high expectations for this battle, with the victor likely becoming the right-hand Beta of the next Alpha. Lost in thought, I was startled as a hand was placed on my shoulder. "What are you thinking about? You look so cranky," Lux, the owner of the hand, sat down next to me.
