“Can I hold you?” “Yes.” That one little word comes out as a sob that tears me apart. I pick her up and plant her on my lap. I bring her head to my chest, resting her cheek on the mark as I lay my hand over the one on her shoulder. “We are blessed you know.” “How are we blessed? I keep telling people the gods never bless me – they just find increasingly creative ways to make my life hell.” “Is that so? What about me? They gave us to each other.”

"I only asked you to pretend to be a food delivery rider and deliver her order. How did you get yourself into this mess?" Luna answered coquettishly, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I'm just too clumsy." He sighed helplessly. "I don't mean to blame you. I just feel sorry for you. But don't worry, I'll tell Jenna to arrange a job for you when I get home." Luna responded, "Okay. You're the best, Matt. I love you." Jenna then received a provocative message from Luna. Luna: [Do you like this gift, Ms. Scott?]

She said. “That is where you are wrong, Shaba, our son is not possessed, but blessed by the Goddess Rhiannon. “I have seen it, I have spoken with her. She has blessed 2 in hopes that together they will help her correct some wrongs and do better by us. Do better for us.” He tells her.

He was too scared to say a word even when his own wife was being offered up to serve the divine tree. … The next day, a few muscular men brought a sedan chair to the village before dawn broke on the horizon. According to the rules, the woman had to be blindfolded when she was delivered to the divine tree to prevent the location of the tree from being exposed. "Drink this, Hailey," David said as he offered me a bowl of black liquid. I took the bowl from him. The strong, herbal scent stung my nose. "What is this?" "It's to calm your nerves, so you won't feel as much pain later," David explained with bright eyes.

“It will pass soon, and then you’ll understand. You’ll be stronger, faster, and more powerful than you could have ever imagined. And you’ll be connected to me, forever.” With one final, searing pain, it was over. I gasped for breath, my body trembling with the aftereffects of the transformation. But the pain had vanished, replaced by a newfound sense of strength and clarity. As I turned to gaze out the window, I saw the world with sharper eyes, the colours brighter and more vibrant than ever before. “Happy birthday, Bella,” Elsie’s voice echoed softly in my mind. “You did it. You found your powers.” I smiled, finally feeling a sense of understanding, of connection with the world and myself.

The grief that once consumed me was gone, instead replaced by a strange sense of peace. Then, my father suddenly looked up, almost like he could see me. He broke down, sobbing uncontrollably. "Adeline… my sweetheart… is it really you? Did you see it? We did it. We made her pay. Can you ever forgive us?" My mother crawled up from the floor, tears streaming down her face as she reached toward me. "Adeline, you came back to see me, didn't you? I miss you so much. In the next life, please come back as my daughter again. I promise I'll make it up to you. I'll love you the way I should have this time."

“May fate be kind to you, may your loved ones aid you in the storms of life, may joy be yours and may there be little strife, may peace and happiness be yours all your days, may you find friends and the love of a fated mate on your way.” I could feel the blessing reverberate through me and know that this is no young witch; this woman is powerful. She then picks up a goblet and draws a crescent on each of their foreheads. “Blessings of the Spirits be upon you. Blessings of All Beings be upon you.” Concluding the blessing, she gives each of us a candle to blow out before placing a crescent on our foreheads as well. “That was something else,” I murmur, and Caterina agrees.

It would be better to die quickly, than to face the full wrath of a ruthless prince. “When did you receive your Master’s blessing” Abe continued with his questioning? What the two men were describing was termed as a ‘blessing’. It was the ability of higher entities and stronger wielders to pass some of their power to lower lifeforms or weaker wielders. It came at a great cost. Firstly, those who were ‘blessed’ would be inherently weaker than others of the same level.

Blessing's smile was wiped off instantly. "Mr Martin, please don't insult me,I know…" "I'm not insulting you, I'm just stating the fact. Aren't you famous for f*cking other men besides your ex husband? He made you reach your climax didn't he? Unlike me, a loyal husband who loved his wife. And at the end all I get is betrayal." Blessing clenched her fist. She couldn't endure the insults. She was about to answer when the door burst open. "Aww! Blessing,it's you!" Kate exclaimed as she came into Austin's office. She held containers of take outs.

"God bless you…" "Don't…I don't need his fucking blessings!" I yelled, refusing to believe it. She flinched back and grabbed hold of the guy, beside the Chestnut haired lady. "I.. I.. Everyone needs God's blessings." She stuttered. My hands clenched in a fist, I needed to hit something hard. And fast. "He wouldn't waste his blessings on me, he'd rather curse me!" I growled. Pausing, she stopped me with one hand on my arm. "That's not true."
