The Billionaire’s Blindspot

The Billionaire’s Blindspot

Again she was out. The next time she woke up, it was in a big room, to beeping. A slow ache was all over her body, but she felt light. Happy? She couldn't follow a train of thought but she did know one thing, she still couldn't see from her right eye. Thought could she? It was dark, but she could sense specks of light coming through from somewhere. She raised her hands to touch her face and felt something. Cotton? Paper? Something was on it to hide her vision. “Kyle, she is up!” she heard Madison say.

he said Ruth decided to go with the doctor while Chantel stayed back with her mother. "The results show your mum has a case of retinal vein occlusion. This I believe is as a result of the head trauma she suffered due to the accident," the doctor informed her "Can this be treated?" Ruth asked "Unfortunately, there is no treatment to revise the condition, however, we can treat any arising complication to protect her vision," the doctor explained "Protect her vision?" Ruth repeated the doctor's words "Does it mean the condition can lead to blindness?" she asked "Yes, if arising complications are not treated," replied the doctor

Love Conquers All

Love Conquers All

We have five circling on patrol and five testing the cameras. “Camera one and two are good, there is about a three foot blind spot where someone could stand if they know about the cameras.” Elyse is taking notes. “Have Demitri walk south east again..stop, I just lost him. Someone take note of that position. Have him walk again..stop, he’s back on camera. Now we need to know how wide that bllind spot goes. Have someone stand on the first spot I said to mark. Both of you walk away from the camera at a slight angle going wide from the center of the camera. I will tell you when you are out of range, this might take a minute.”

This was SO good. This is the 2nd book of Miss L that I’ve read, and she’s done it again. I love how she manages to capture a strong female lead, and managed to do it 6x in this story. I will say I’m a little disappointed in the abrupt ending. Wish there were a few epilogues honestly.

The Ice King’s Fake Fixer

"What's the plan, Einstein?" I opened the velvet pouch and pulled out three small, neon-orange adhesive discs. "We are going to conduct a tactile peripheral test. Put your helmet on." "Inside the room?" he asked, frowning. "Yes. The visor limits your peripheral vision, which forces your brain to rely entirely on your central ocular tracking. I need to see how your eyes adjust when your field of view is artificially restricted."

Melting The Ice Captain

She was the only occupant in it. Just as I had done all day, I ignored her. Blinking, I started seeing black spots in my vision. Strange, I had eaten and today wasn't that stressful. I shook my head and looked up, just in time to catch Lily's gaze through the reducing gap of the closing elevator doors. My vision blurred and I held the wall for support, my head suddenly ached with a nasty intensity. Something was wrong. I tried to glare at Lily but my vision swam.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

"The Eye has cataracts. Blind spots." Jack slid a gold coin across the table. A real one. Stolen from a cartel vault three years ago. "Where are the blind spots?" The woman drew a map in the dust. "The Western Ridge. The winds are high there. Sensors fail. Spirits walk." "Spirits I can handle," Jack said. "Sensors are annoying." "Beware the Mother," the old woman whispered suddenly, grabbing his wrist. Her grip was surprisingly strong. "She weaves the web, but she does not eat the fly. She waits."

Get Back The Abandoned Luna

“What do you mean I can't use my blood on her?” “Well,” Natasha seemed to sit on the other chair across from us. “If you use your blood on her eyes, it will damage it completely and she might become blind.” Her words made us freeze. She continued. “Her eyes were in their sensitive phrase right now and it cannot be hit by the sun or anything—not even be poked accidentally because it can cause permanent blindness.” I heard her let out a sigh. “That's why you have to protect your eyes at this phrase. The cloth I used to blindfold your eyes—don't take it off, not even if you would take a bath or shower.”

After He Took It All

After He Took It All

Her eyes were locked on the pyramid, her glance sharp and focused, as if waiting for something out of the ordinary to move. “Path?” she asked. My father pointed towards a barely visible dip in the terrain, the bob in the throat moving as he didn't look away, “There. The blind spot. Twelve-second window between sweeps.” “Twelve?” Alexei repeated. “Generous.” “It used to be eight.” He confessed. “That does not help.” He frowned. I ignored them, and focused on the situation. “On my mark,” I said under my breath, in hopes of calming every aching nerves.
