Zephyra said with a laugh. “Karma’s a bitch,” Brady replied. He started to smile but winced, his hand moving to the nasty gash on his lip. With a nod of his head, he invited her inside. “What happened?” Zephyra asked, stepping inside what was obviously a man cave. The flat-screen TV covered the whole wall, a central hub connected to a lot of fancy sound and game systems. There were bean bags, leather couches, and various chairs all around the room. She didn’t see any knickknacks or decorations that weren’t gaming, guns, or hunting paraphernalia.

Our breaths became unstable, his warmth swarmed over me like a gentle breeze, I was about to lose myself completely. My eyes jolted awake, beaming a bright shade of green and his eyes too, gleaming it's beautiful blue. "Mark me." I whispered. "Green..." He paused but my grasp around his back tightened. "Mark me." I affirmed again with a smile. He smiled too and went for the left side of my neck while I went for his left too. We both bared our canines before sinking it into each other's skin. If I had expected it to be painful, I was deceiving myself.

My reasoning is because I was focusing on finishing off high school, had to deal with graduation and family matters, and most of all I was unmotivated and I have been. Yes, I know it sounds like an excuse but I'd rather write Blinded when I'm motivated rather than write crappy chapters that I don't enjoy writing. So for the month of June, I'm going to take a break from writing, find some sort of motivation, and overall figure out what direction I want Blinded to go. So for right now, it is a goodbye unit next month. Sorry for the delay. -L.N.F

Then my gaze fell upon his ankle, and I chuckled. "Nice anklet," I commented, watching as the light on it flashed green. He rolled his eyes, grabbing my hand and pulling me closer. His arm encircled my waist as he buried his face in my neck. "Wait," I said, furrowing my eyebrows. "Shouldn't that be blinking red?" I inquired, referring to the fact that he was supposed to be at his house for the light to be green. "It wasn't hard to adjust it," he replied casually, causing me to snicker.

I heard Brian say in rage. "I don't know why he hates me." I said through the tears. "Oh, there, there baby. I'll take care of him. Let's get you inside I will look at your leg and repare it best as I can." Brian carried me inside and he took me to a room one of his guesst rooms. "Don't be afraid. This is just my skinning room." Brian said as he gently sat me down in a chair that was almost like a dentist's chair. He then took off my leggings exposing my bruised up and bloodied up leg. "Now, baby it might hurt a bit, I may have to give you something to numb the pain alright?" I watched as Brian put some clear liquid and a cloth he then dabbed it on my wound a I cried out in pain. Capris phone went off for about an hour straight. She didn’t answer and decided not to respond to any messages.
