The warning light flashed like a rave. And on my other screen, the green dots of my family's life signs blinked out. One. By. One.

“No. It was—blurred. I couldn’t see it.” “Good.” The word landed strangely. I frowned. “Good?” His gaze met mine, steady and intent. “It means you weren’t remembering. You were being shown something that hasn’t happened yet.” The room went very still. “A warning,” I said. “Yes.” “Warnings can be wrong.” “They can,” Lucian agreed. “They can also be altered.” Blaze leaned forward slightly, forearms resting on his knees. “Or stopped.” Raven didn’t say anything.

Needed to be used. I did not know how dangerous that need would become.

Not blinking. Something really isc razy. I feel it deep in my bones.

Dashiell spoke, his tone low and sharp. She nodded affirmatively, and Dashiell stifled a laugh. Boris placed the laptop on Dashiell's desk, and we began to look at clips of different people with gaps, which made it hard to comprehend. "You were asked to blink twice to activate the lenses, and just because you didn't do that twice doesn't mean that it won't activate when you blink at intervals. The only difference is the clear video recording from blinking twice and the gaps from blinking once," Dashiell added, the corner of his lips moving to reveal a smirk.

My reasoning is because I was focusing on finishing off high school, had to deal with graduation and family matters, and most of all I was unmotivated and I have been. Yes, I know it sounds like an excuse but I'd rather write Blinded when I'm motivated rather than write crappy chapters that I don't enjoy writing. So for the month of June, I'm going to take a break from writing, find some sort of motivation, and overall figure out what direction I want Blinded to go. So for right now, it is a goodbye unit next month. Sorry for the delay. -L.N.F

Warning symbols flashed across the screen. SYSTEM FAILURE DETECTED CONNECTION LOST DATA BREACH WARNING The cheerful faces in the crowd turned pale in seconds.

he said, smirking. I blinked and took in the bush around us. And fuck, it was a sight I hated. Because of them, what I associated it with. Pain, destruction, death. The worst kind of danger. Nothing worse than a witch or warlock with 24/7 PMS and unpredictable mood swings, but a coven full of them? Convinced they can do and say whatever the hell they want? No fucking thanks.
