“Uh, I'll just have the burger, please.” The waiter raised an eyebrow. “Our signature burger is a dry-aged beef patty, topped with truffles and caramelized onions, served on a brioche bun. Would you like to add any cheese or bacon?” “Uh, no, that's okay. Just the burger, please.” I uttered. I didn't even have any cash, and that was what I could afford. The waiter nodded and took our menus. “Very well, sir. We'll prepare your meal accordingly.”

I decided to upload some pictures on my account since it’s been quite a long that it has been stuck in my gallery. I spoke through the mic of the drive-through headset. "Ah yeah, can I please have one of your Sneakz Classic Sizzle Steak Burgers?" A woman's voice came back through the headset's earpiece. "Sure can. Which sauce would you like on your Sneakz Classic Steak Burger?" I replied.

As all the flavors melded together in her mouth, an explosion of juiciness from the wagyu beef along with the crispy crunch of the pickle and all the other flavors made her lean her head back in enjoyment. Finally, after savoring her first bite, she looked at the beautiful, black couple and was ready to speak. Before she could say a word, Brad piped in and said, “I believe she liked it Brenda!” Brenda, with a huge grin, shook her head in agreement. “Yes Brad baby. I think you’re exactly right!” “You’re both wrong!” Jaimee said, the taste of the burger still lingering on her taste buds. “I didn’t just like it, I thought it was the most amazing burger I’ve ever had in my life!”

Ash leaned in, whispering not-so-quietly, “Papi, do they really have burgers here? It looks like a salad place.” “If I own this place,” I said, lifting the glass of water just poured, “anything you want can be here.” He stared at me for a beat, then smiled. Simple. Direct. It landed harder than a gun to the head. I let his hand go, but he grabbed it back instantly. His fingers locked around mine. No escape. I left them there. The waiter returned with brioche buns, wagyu patties, cheese oozing like gold. Ash cheered, grabbing the burger with both hands and biting deep. Melted cheese dripped onto his wrist. He panicked, looked at me.

Upon finally doing so, the world felt hazy, save for her face. She smiled up at him, obviously enjoying his bewilderment. “I know. It's a surprise, right? Kissing someone like me. Consider it a bonus for all your hard work tonight.” She jokingly stuffed ten dollars into his shirt pocket. “Your tip. Thanks again, handsome. Enjoy your shift!” Fidelis stood in shock, watching her stroll away, utterly puzzled by the whole encounter. Next to him, Brown's eyes were wide, his hand covering his mouth in astonishment. After a lengthy pause, he stammered, “Mr. Fidelis… you… you kissed a girl…”

Lush took off his coat, unbuttoned a few buttons, and pulled a chair for Ruth before sitting across from her. “Do you eat this?” she asked, pointing to the burger. “Of course. I’m not an alien,” he replied, making her laugh. The burger had lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onions, and a patty. Lush took a bite and enjoyed it. “Where did you buy this?” he inquired, “This is good,” he commented, nodding. She smiled while eating, “From a fast-food place. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s fine. I rarely have it. I used your payment for this.”

"Sorry, that's heavy for first date talk. But they were good parents and I like remembering them." The navigator beeped and their destination was in sight. "Like I said," Trisha noted as she pulled a curl behind her ear. "It's not much, but it's my favorite place." Logan looked at the signs that proudly proclaimed to have the nation's biggest burger and contest to go with it. "Hey, Trisha, if I'm reading this right, does that mean if I eat that thing, the whole meal is free for the both of us?"

Jeremy smirks at the use of the word small and Eva flips him the bird. "I'm starving." Dree says and as if it was planned, a waitress came to our table. "Welcome to Benny Burger's. What can I get you guys today?" She asks politely. "I'll have the triple stack burger with a side of fries and a larger coke." I say and the rest get the same thing with the exception of fries on some of their plates. "I'll be back with your drinks shortly." She says and we thank her before she's off to the kitchen I suppose.
