I asked, trying my best to not sound as nervous as I suddenly felt. “I’m doing great as well. I’m not sure if you saw my comment on your blog the other night but I absolutely love your stories. I saw some of your older posts as well when you did fantasy, and your storytelling is incredible. It’s almost like you lived through all of that,” she chuckled. I forced a chuckle of my own.

They felt like freedom. When Roman came home, I was still typing. He leaned against the doorway, watching me with that soft, curious smile of his. “What’s got you so focused?” he asked, walking closer. I looked up, blinking away the haze. “I’m writing something.” “Another blog post?” I hesitated before shaking my head. “Something bigger. I think… I think it’s time I tell my story.” He raised an eyebrow. “Your story?” I nodded, exhaling slowly. “Everything. From the beginning. Before you. With you. All of it.”

Warm, cozy, loving, a home filled with people and the hint of cocoa and magic in the air. Pulling myself away from the only happy memory I had of my family, I started tapping on the keyboard. Sometime later, when my mug was already empty and the clock on the TV showed 2 AM, I had my new blog story finished in front of me. “Hey, my alluring fans! Were you waiting to see if my next ‘Kiss and tell’ story was going to be with the cheerleader you asked for? Yeah, I did it again. Let me tell you every detail of our hot kiss...”

My readers wanted new content every single day and if they didn’t get it, then I knew they wouldn’t stick around for long. Up to this point, I had limited my blog posts to be about bad dates involving friends, family or personal experience; basically anything that I could verify to some degree. But without me having regular bad dates, I just didn't have the content I needed to keep the website running smoothly. I needed more. That was when an idea flashed into my mind. What if I allowed readers to submit their stories to me? They could tell me all about their bad dates and I could post the best “worst” dates from them. It’ll be like a contest.

Expose`Queen. By now you must have figured out that I wanted to open a blog. A blog is a regularly updated website about different topics. You can pick one niche/theme to focus on, or write a general blog. I chose to create a personal blog where I exposed secrets famous people didn’t want to let out. Before long, I had already chosen a web hosting company and bought the domain expose`queen. This was my place, where I could talk about whatever I wanted without getting fired. I had censored some things for the paper but here I was the boss.

But if the readers engage aggressively and continue rambling about it in the days that follow, of course the bastards would want to milk more from the story.” Lola nodded. “Okay, okay. Forgive me for being slow, but I still don’t see what this has got to do with mí.”
