The deeper we go, the more alive and pulsing everything seems to become. There are butterflies, with gold and white patterned wings, the size of my hands, drifting lazily between the blossoms. Tiny lights, like little fairies, are dancing over the river’s surface even though it is still daylight.

My blood answered my call. I let his sharp pain pierce through my skin, welcoming the blood I needed. The blood rolled over my arm, reaching my hand quite slowly. Olivia blocked her eyes once at the enchanting scene, and suddenly she was in a completely different place.
