Dance of Roses

Dance of Roses

Sean said before he made a rose appear seemingly from thin air, “A beautiful rose for the even more beautiful Claudia.” At those words Claudia’s expression darkened and she stood up causing her black gown to swirl around her matching the stormy look in her eyes. “What’s wrong? Did I say something wrong?” he said while wondering why Claudia wasn’t teasing him about being corny like she normally would. At that Claudia looked at him and took the rose from his hand but said as she pricked her finger with a thorn, “Yes, a rose is beautiful, but it is dangerous due to its thorns. Like the rose, I may be beautiful, but I am a predator of the night. A monster wrapped in a pretty skin.” As she finish

Roses

[Rose] I stared at my face in the mirror and sigh putting on my lipstick for the second time. My time coming up for another dance. I could feel my feet getting sore minute by minute as I made my way towards the dance floor. My teeth unintentionally bit my lower lip softly as I suddenly saw Kaden standing near the stage. The club was filled with people because it was a weekend. I had t leave early today because I was going apartment hunting tomorrow morning. I didn't care about the size. I didn't care if it was not convenient.

Never to look back

Never to look back

However, before she could let her thoughts run wild, a huge bouquet of 99 deep red roses that still had dew drops trapped on almost every petal giving it a surreal appearance was placed infront of her. The roses calmed her tumultuous heart and mind. It wasn’t because rose was her favourite flower but because Chris had once told her that although 99 roses meant ‘I will love you till the day I die’, 99 roses with dew drops on them meant ‘Not only will I love you till the day I die, but I will also protect and cherish you till the day I die.’ She turned her head with an expectant expression to look into two pools of passion that were filled with worry and concern.

Fake Marriage: The Trillionire Tycoon's Fiesty Bride

String lights cascaded above them, adding to the enchantment. Her gaze drifted downward, and her breath caught. The ground was a carpet of roses—red, white, and pink—arranged in a heart-shaped pattern so intricate it seemed almost unreal. Among the petals, candles flickered softly, their golden glow illuminating the arrangement with an ethereal warmth.

This is a very well written book. I love the plot as well. I do wish the relationship between the female and male leads would progress more quickly though, even if I understand the reasons why it hasn’t yet. I’d still love to see more progress on that side. I just deleted a similar story bc of this.

Dear Author, we are already in chapter 275 and the story still not match the title. So when is it the main characters going to get married? Is this another book that it will drag forever? I’m just curious. I used to look forward to reading your book but I’m starting to lose interest.

Ignite me (A collection of Short Stories)

Ignite me (A collection of Short Stories)

The late sun warms the back of my neck, but the real warmth comes from the sight waiting for me among the roses. Daisy is kneeling in the rich soil we enriched together last spring, gloves filthy, strands of hair escaping her messy bun to dance across her flushed cheeks. The roses we planted side by side have gone gloriously wild. Heavy crimson blooms, soft blush pinks, creamy whites climbing the trellises we built on that stolen Sunday when I cancelled every meeting and simply existed as a man in love. She’s humming softly, snipping spent flowers into a basket, completely absorbed. The sight of her here, grounded and real amid all this ancient stone and protocol, still steals the breath fro

drip hitting the surface of the stagnant pool at my feet. I strained against my shackles. The silver seared my skin, the smoke rising from my wrists in thin, acrid ribbons. I didn't care. I needed to be closer. I watched as a dark, viscous drop fell from a drainage pipe protruding from the ceiling. It hit the water and bloomed like a crimson flower in the dark. "It’s hers," I whispered. "The scent... it’s pure. She’s not just bleeding. She’s ritualizing it."

The Wolf's Mate, Vampire's Bride (Against All Odds Duology)

The Wolf's Mate, Vampire's Bride (Against All Odds Duology)

“Rose-“ But before I could even finish my word, I felt a hand wrap around my waist and then I was being lifted up and off of the floor and the world went black. **** “You can open your eyes now.” The first thing I noticed as Damien lowered me to the ground was the intense smell of black roses. Since they were different from normal roses, they had a distinct smell which was richer and stronger than any other rose in the world. It was also the only rose that stayed in bloom for an entirety of two months. As I had expected, when I opened my eyes, I was no longer standing in the Shelter, in the middle of the ocean, but in the inner gardens of Damien’s castle, the place where we first met.

He Hurt Me, Now He Wants Me Back

He Hurt Me, Now He Wants Me Back

He doesn’t deserve it after everything. As I clear the coffee table, my eyes fall on the vase. The roses Damien bought me a few days ago. They’re now wilted, dry and brittle. My chest tightens, and I freeze, staring at the dying flowers. Tears blur my vision, and before I can stop it, they spill over, rolling down my cheeks in hot, uncontrollable streams.

No one is perfect of course but why isn’t it the other way round?? From what I have read it looks like he repeated exactly what was done to his mother and he followed in his father’s footsteps so make me understand

If you’re looking for a second chance romance with good pace, then this book is for you.The problems doesn’t drag on at all and each scene drives the plot forward. I like how the writer doesn’t exploit drama from the characters…Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Looking forward to more updates

Mated To The Quadruplets Lycan Alphas

Mated To The Quadruplets Lycan Alphas

I couldn’t afford hesitation. As Shirin and Rose disappeared down one path, I followed Draco down another, silent and unseen, my focus narrowing as I slipped back into the shadows. Rose’s POV “Wow." I was left amazed at the scene before my eyes. The air felt cooler here, brushing softly against my skin, carrying the clean, earthy scent of wet stone and blooming flowers. Before me, water spilled from a rocky ledge, cascading down in shimmering ribbons, each drop catching the light as if the sun had woven itself into the fall. The sound wasn’t loud or violent—it was gentle, rhythmic, like a steady heartbeat that calmed something restless inside me.

Veiled Obsession

Veiled Obsession

Olivia blinked awake, her senses gently stirred by the delicate touch of soft rose petals fluttering onto her skin, each one whispering a sweet allure of morning. As she sat up, her surprise turned to wonder, watching in awe as deep red petals cascaded gracefully from the ceiling fan above, twirling like dancers in slow motion. A small, delighted smile bloomed on her lips—this unexpected shower of roses felt ethereal, intimate, almost as if she had stumbled from the realm of dreams into a waking fantasy.

Frequently Asked Questions

The bleeding rose in 'Bleeding Rose' isn't just a visual metaphor—it's a literal manifestation of the protagonist's cursed lineage. In the story, the rose belongs to the vampire queen Elara, who bound her soul to it centuries ago. Every time someone from her bloodline commits an act of betrayal, the rose 'bleeds' as a warning. The crimson droplets symbolize both guilt and the inevitability of familial cycles repeating.

What makes it haunting is how the narrative ties this to the main character, Liora. She spends half the book trying to ignore the rose's warnings, only to realize too late that her own choices are feeding its hunger. The final scene where she pricks her finger on its thorns, merging her blood with its petals, is a gorgeous yet tragic payoff. It’s not just about magic; it’s about how history stains us in ways we can’t wash off.
