Glass shattered, metal twisted, and screams filled the air. Then silence. I wasn’t in the car anymore. I was falling—or drowning. I couldn’t tell. Water surrounded me, thick and suffocating. My chest burned as I fought to breathe, clawing desperately to reach the surface. My arms flailed, grabbing at nothing but empty space. Above me, the surface shimmered, just out of reach, taunting me with every desperate struggle. Blood swirled in the water, tendrils of red curling around me like chains. Was it mine? Someone else’s? I didn’t know. My heart pounded as I sank deeper, the weight of the water dragging me down.

I could hear the blood in my ears, the breath in my lungs. Everyone else was silent, too. That’s when I saw it. A narrow ledge spiralled up the side of a cliff, no wider than a man’s shoulder. Below, it stretched a deep ravine, not black, not empty, but filled with something that made my stomach twist. Water. Or at least… what looked like water. Thick. Crimson. Glowing faintly like it breathed. A pool of blood. Literal or not, I didn’t know. But the stench, metallic, ancient clawed its way up the cliffside like a hand reaching for us.

In no time, he rolled up his shirt, pulling it up and tucking it up above his belly. He gave the big devil a chance to see exactly what he was hiding. My heart sinking in my chest. "Soph! Soph!" I cry out looking around to see nothing.The water surface in serenity. Holding my breath I go down again to only find the colour of blood surround me. Before she could get to the sea Cynthia was already sinking into the water, the water by the sea was bloody and stinky. She soared down towards the water as her wings disappeared. She fell into the water and swam down while trying hard to hold her breath, as she went down further to look for Cynthia's body she tried hard not to let some of the bloody water into her mouth, luckily she was able to grab Cynthia's body before it sank completely to the shallow surface of the sea. However when she swam back to the top of the water the area she was in was now engulfed in flames due to the special mineral weapon her soldiers used on the water, thereby making the water catch flames when fire touched

Kneeling down in front of the water, I slowly immersed my hands in. The water was a tad bit cold, almost cool and it quickly washed the blood off of my fingers as I rubbed my hands together. I watched as the blood spread through the water, turning soft pink before it completely disappears. Once the blood was off of my hands, I was about to stand up but a huge splash near me caused the water splash all over me, making the front of my dress wet. The blood on his fur was getting washed away as he swam to the center of the water and dipped his head in.

He placed it in the middle of the audience, then recited a prayer. When I dripped my blood into the water, my blood immediately formed a small ball-shaped lump that swam. Then Hayden did too, and his blood also clotted into a small ball. Our blood clots separated from each other. Mine in the right, and Hayden's in the left. That proves that the water in the cup is indeed not ordinary water. The last one is Baby Pasha's blood. The High Priest could easily stab a needle into his tiny index finger. I almost headed that High Priest if he hurt my son more than he needed to. But thankfully, the High Priest did his job in one stab, and then my son's blood entered the cup.
