As the water cascaded down, the blood began to slowly wash away, mingling with the cold stream and trailing down her body. Amara's gaze fell to the floor, where the blood now tainted the once cleaned and polished tiles. She then glanced at her hands. Although physically clean, she still saw the crimson stains, still felt the warmth of the blood lingering on her flesh even though the cold water was drenching her.

I pushed it open, freezing in my tracks. “Azura?!” Leo called, but I couldn’t reply, the sight before me making my stomach sink. The tap was running into a bath that was overfull already, but what sent a chill down my spine, was the hand that hung out of the bath. The coppery smell of blood hit my nose as I approached the bath that was coloured pinky-red. A faint heartbeat could be heard, but it was so quiet… “Kareena?” I called, as I stopped at the bath and stared down into the bloody water, my eyes widening in horror.

I sighed and pulled the stopper, letting the bloody water drain out while reaching out to pump refresh water in to rinse myself with. I had stood up in the tub dumping the water down me to ensure I was free of any blood, when I heard a gasp.

I let out a soft but shocked gasp as the creep laid unconsciously on the floor, with his blood mixing with the water. Is he dead??

I splashed my face a few more times and then took a gulp of water to rinse my mouth but immediately spat it out. “What the hell?” I nearly gagged at the irony taste of the water and opened my eyes to a nightmare. Blood. Dark red and metallic. It was everywhere. On the sink, splashed across the bathroom mirror and it was gushing out of the tap. It was on my clothes as well as my hands. Everywhere. And then I looked at my face in the mirror…and screamed. ******* RING! RING! RING! RING! I gasped and sat up in bed, feeling myself tremble as I my mind raced to catch up with what just happened.
