He crouched in front of it and was about to touch it when I put a hand on his shoulder. “Don’t touch it! It can cause harm to you,” I warned him through the mind link and he nodded before inspecting it. “Strange! This blood has no scent, which is quite impossible,” He answered through his mind link too. “Yeah! But what if someone created it through magic or something like that,” I asked and picked up the jug of water before pouring on it. The water diluted the blood a bit but after a few seconds, everything turned colorless like there was nothing but water. He got up and looked towards me. I shrugged my shoulders in response and he grabbed my wrist. We left our room but he didn’t stop there,

And the leaves tremble as though they're unsure what's touching them. I walk slowly to the brook behind my den. It's a small stream that usually flows clear and gentle, singing its soft water song. But today, it's different. The water looks cloudy. There's something in it, something thin and dark, like ink slowly bleeding through paper. When I kneel beside it and dip my fingers in, the water stings. It's neither cold nor hot, but feels wrong. Like it doesn't belong to this forest anymore. The animals feel it too.

His knees went weak. The swimming pool, once shimmering with chlorinated blue, was now dark red—no, not just red—thick. Viscous. Choked with blood. Floating within it were bodies—or fragments of them. Limbs. Ripped torsos. A jaw. A pale hand still clutching a waterproof phone. Hair drifted like seaweed beneath the surface, and a single eye bobbed near the deep end, staring into nothing. Miguel staggered back, hand over his mouth. He doubled over, dry-heaving, but nothing came up. He turned and ran toward the change rooms, the bile rising with every step.

Could it be the vampire blood that is inside my bloodstream? I took off my clothes and headed to the shower to have my bath. The warm water cascaded down my body, washing away the grime and dust from my travels. I closed my eyes, letting the water soothe my muscles and relax my mind. The shower was fitted with several showerheads that spewed water from different angles, giving me a feeling of being in a rainforest. It was as if the water was massaging my body, easing away all the tension and stress.

Diana commented, raising her hand which was covered in black liquid. "Black...? Vampire...?" she said as she saw this man's injured arm which continued to emit a jet black liquid. “I think it's blood, and I think it's the color of blood that vampires have. There's no mistaking this... This is Raltz's territory, a part of the vampire world. But—” Diana paused her thoughts for a moment. “—I just found out vampires have blood too. I don't think they have it," thought Diana as she tore off her coat to make it into a bandage.

I got to what seemed like a dead end with some hedges and I pushed my way through while trying not to poke my eyes out. I saw a small stream on the other side. It had crystal clear water which looked very inviting. I walked closer and I knelt by the water. I dipped my hands in and just let the cool water gush between my fingers. I was about to drink the water after having inspected it for a while to make sure I wasn't going to swallow tadpoles or anything like that, when I saw something red in it. It was a light red streak that slowly became darker till it was almost crimson.

The water around me was a soft shade of pink from my own blood. I was desperate for air, trying to swim with all that I had left in me. When I felt my face break through the water and the heat of the sun on my face, I gasped for air while coughing out the water that tried to enter my lungs. My hair clung to my face trying to block my breaths, and the metallic taste of blood was in my mouth.

“That’s enough water, Betsy.” Snapping out of her daze, she hurried forward to close the tap, and without another word, Betsy hurried out of the bathroom. I undressed Vanya and then lowered her into the water. With an arm behind her neck, I used the washcloth to drip water onto her chest. Within seconds the water was tainted with blood. Some places on her skin wouldn’t stop bleeding. I rubbed a finger over one wound and found something sticking out of her skin. Frowning, I leaned forward to get a closer look.

I rip my shirt open and I see water rolling down my body as if it's a hot summer's day. Something catches my eye. My veins start turning black , and like almost black blood begins to flow up to my arms. Standing up , I limp to the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. The pain begins to double and triple - I hold onto the sink. The black blood or substance travels through every vein in my body, even the eye vein - turning the whites of my eyes black. I feel it flow as it leaves a trail of pain behind. My teeth begin to hurt and I begin to loose conciousness as the pain becomes unbearable.
