Kalilah POV When I received a letter from Prince Auren of the Obsidian Wing, a dragon clan in the area, I didn’t know what to think. Other than the vampires, I’d reached out to supernatural leaders of all kinds, including other wolf clans, to make sure I was able to have allies. However, the dragon shifters were very private, preferring to deal only with one another. The fact that they were agreeing to meet with me, Kalilah—alpha of the Silver Moon pack, was shocking.

With a swift motion, I unsheathed my claws and lunged at him, engaging in a fierce one-on-one battle. The woods erupted into chaos as my warriors followed suit, unleashing their fury upon our adversaries. "You won't get away with this! Surrender now!" Clayton threatened. "You think you can defeat us? We are stronger than you'll ever be!" The rogue spat. The clash of steel and the snarls of combat filled the air. She turned on the light and gazed at her reflection in the mirror. Her porcelain skin shone under the light, she wondered how long it had been since she last cut herself. At once, she felt thirst rising in her for her own blood. Her hand went to the the upper cabinet and she pulled out a blade. She ran her index finger on the sharp blade and went to sit in the bathtub. She ran the blade on the inside of her thigh intricately as if being careful to not mess up her art and neatly drew an A.
