Crimson blood scattered on the ground and Amara's painful scream rang in the air, its echo resounding in the desolate silence. Her face turned pale and a few drops of blood landed on her face, tainting her skin with crimson. Her tear-filled gaze locked onto Killian, his jaw was clenched tightly as he held his arm. His right arm was relentlessly bleeding where the bullet had found its mark, piercing through his skin brutally.

SEVENTY-NINE Anabelle could not comprehend what she was looking at. Bodies were lying everywhere, it was a terrible massacre. She could tell that Amaris was no longer holding back and was indeed doing what she promised to do, to wipe off werewolves. The smell of blood was heavy in the air and the number of bodies only seemed to increase as they drove to the pack house. Amaris had attacked the pack's centre and killed anyone she spotted. Guilt ate at Anabelle as she looked at the cadavers of people that were once so alive.

At first everywhere was a little dark though they couldn't see each other, there was a little dim light at the far end of the room. Cobwebs was everywhere, blood stains on the walls, human bones and dismembered bodies everywhere though fake but it looked so realistic. Lucifer looked at her and she was unexpectedly calm, her playfulness earlier was gone as she looked around the places as if memorizing it. Soon something dropped on the floor right in front of them and when they looked at it, it was blood. They looked up to see where the blood had dropped from but instead a dead body drop at the same time and Skyler cling unto Lucifer even more as she swallowed.

The water falling from them turns red and eventually pink until it comes clean. I rub my hands with soap for a long time. I need to scrub their blood away from me. I cry as I feel my hands feel raw with how much I scrub them. I finish the shower and get out; looking at myself in the mirror, I barely recognise myself. My eyes are red and puffy, my heart is broken, and I walk towards the dressing room. I see the blood stains on the carpet, and I stop walking as I look. There’s so much blood where Elliot was standing.

Bloodstains littered the ground, leading a macabre trail towards a chilling scene. They rushed forward, their hearts pounding in their chests. The sight before them was a nightmare come to life. Alison stood with bloodied claws, a sinister smile etched on her face. Kate lay motionless on the ground, her body covered in crimson, while Vella clutched her, her own form stained with the evidence of a brutal attack. Evan's voice cracked with anguish. "No... Kate, Vella!" Aiden's fists clenched, rage burning in his eyes. "Alison, you monster! What have you done?"

Another man is running towards them but as he gets close enough Diana shoots out her other arm and knocks him to the ground. "DIANA" I shout. She throws Bonnie's body to the floor and turns to face my direction. Her Eyes are pure black and she lifts her nose in the air sniffing. She blinks and her eyes are back to normal. "What the fuck?" Orion says. I watch as the man gets up and stabs a needle into Diana's neck, she crumbles to the floor. My wolf surges forward and I shift speeding off towards her. I instantly shift back and cradle Diana in my arms listening for her heartbeat.

They could also sense the lingering presence of a vampire in the room. "There's something wrong with this room." Alex whispered to Victoria. "I know. This is no ordinary murder. This is the work of a vampire." Victoria whispered back. "Do you think so too?" asked Alex in surprise. "Hmm... something like that. Look at these bloody sheets. That's not human blood. It's vampire blood." Victoria said softly as she pointed to the sheets on the bed. Alex looked at the sheet carefully. He noticed that the colour of the blood was darker and thicker than human blood. He also saw black spots around the blood.

He turned to see Max who clearly had some pained expressions. "Enzo"! Stephen signaled Max and he stormed out pulling Max along him. Zee and Saint looked at each other and turned to their food. "Wh… What happened to Max". Callum stuttered. "Nothing. He can't bear the sight of blood. Here the blood is stopped. Go wash it before the lunch gets cold. Saint, call Max and Enzo". Callum nodded and left for the ensuite washroom to wash his thumb.

Yet, I kept watching, how he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears once the breeze sent it sprawling over her face and how he smiled so brightly saying some things to her until. A scream ripped out from my lungs. A burning sensation coursing through my wrist, something hot and liquid pouring. My eyes darted to it, the pain igniting every movement I made with the hands. And then I saw it. Blood. “Blood.” I didn't even know when I whispered the words until I felt a shadow kneel before me, and grabbed my hands. I looked up, it was Kael. I tried to let go of his grip but it was firm, not too tight though.

"That mark belongs to me." She stepped back, blade raised again. "You're lying." He took a slow step forward, his eyes glowing brighter. "I wish I were." Before she could react, the sky darkened. Dozens of crows rose from the trees at once, shrieking and circling above them. The air grew heavy, the ground trembling under her boots. Kael looked up at the sky. "The Bloodbound has awakened." Seraphina didn't understand what he meant-she only knew one thing.
