The Savage Luna and Her Six Obsessive Monsters
Waist-high and glowing faintly, she looked like something out of a myth.
The forest’s darkness bent around her, like even it didn’t want to mess with her.
“Beautifully dangerous,” I murmured, smiling despite the exhaustion gnawing at my bones. “Just like me, huh?”
Blue made that weird chirp-growl sound, almost smug.
Suddenly, a dense mist rolled out across the clearing ahead. My hand went straight to my dagger. “Oh, come on. Not another one.”
But before I could take a step forward, Blue’s body flared with a soft blue aura, her power rippling outward in a pulse that cut through the fog, the mist hissed, twisting and then dissolving completely, leaving behind a stretch of empty ground.
