The woman in the white coat watched us from behind her tablet, her face as cold as a stone. "Bryan, get her out of here!" I hissed. Bryan didn't move. He reached into the back of his waistband and pulled out a small, black cylinder. It looked like a flashlight, but when he pressed a button on the side, a bright blue blade of humming energy shot out. "Where did you get that?" I gasped. "I stole it from the Prime before he fell into the tunnel," Bryan said. He stepped in front of me, the blue light reflecting in his eyes. "Hazel, when I move, you run. Don't look back. Just get to the subway entrance at the end of the block."

Barley replied, "I sent a number on W******p. He's my subordinate who handles all the affairs of Sterling Technology in the capital city. He is the branch head there, so if you need any help, he will gladly comply." Danial felt grateful for Barley's thoughtfulness. "Thank you, Barley. I appreciate the help." Meanwhile, in another part of the academy in the medical room, Leonard lay on a bed with his head wrapped in bandages. He slowly groaned and opened his eyes, feeling that his throat was dry, so he slowly called out, "W-water..." A nurse was walking nearby and heard Leonard call. She walked towards him and asked, "Sir, you called for something?"

They looked like they’d done this more times than they could count. The first one was an older bald man built like a wall, who eyed me down. His suit was worn yet pressed. Behind him was a younger officer who was tall and broad at the shoulders. His blonde hair glistened under the bright light. The sharpness of his scowl could unnerve any criminal, except I wasn’t one. They didn’t speak right away. They let the air settle, let me sit in the silence as they approached me. “Special Agent Alexander.” The bald officer introduced himself. Then he gestured vaguely to the younger one. “Special Agent Barry.”

Lucian Slater: I made the call to emergency services. Nurse Bailey Sledge: Come with me. She stalks off, and he hurries to catch up with her. Lucian Slater: You're not going to ask my relation to the guy? Nurse Bailey Sledge: We all heard that call. I think you deserve to at least know how the guy's doing. Lucian chuckles and she stops at the entrance of a room and presses a command on her tablet. The door slides open with a chime, and there Barry lays on his bed. Seeming coherent, he smiles when he recognizes Lucian's face.

Blue had just started crawling back against the wall, still holding his jaw, face twisted in pain. "Zayn, wait—" he pleaded. "We can talk. I have connections. I can give you names—" Zayn didn’t answer. A single shot rang out. The bullet went clean through Mr. Blue’s skull. He slumped to the ground, dead. Zayn stood still for a moment. Breathing. Processing. Then he turned around. "Clean it up," he said to Day. "Burn whatever needs burning. We’re done here." Terek joined them in the hallway, dragging one of Mr. Blue’s men by the collar. "He’s the last one," he said. "The others are down."

Instantly, she seemed to become a demonized woman, charging over at Barry and scratching his face until it was bloody. At this point, Barry could no longer deny his crimes… Now that he was arrested, all the inferior products that he had manufactured were taken in as evidence as well. When the leader fell, others would roll. The moment Barry was arrested, his previously obedient staff members all began to fess up. After all, none of them wanted to be included in his crimes as accomplices, so they immediately came clean about all the evil things Barry had done that they knew about. In fact, one of them even shared a huge secret about Barry taking a life.
