He spoke. The papers flying around them fell slowly. "Then, Hail– " Blue said and stared straight in his eyes. Blue’s eyes are the color of the forest that is piercing Hail’s soul. " – how about this life? Your dream? Do you – " he said and lowered his head. " – not remember this all?" he asked. His voice is low. Hail felt his heart stop beating for a moment, and the surrounding moved so fast as fast as a bullet train. His hair fluttered together with the papers when a carriage went past them. He just looks at Blue. Blue is hanging his head. A moment of silence fell on them.

‘Does such a person exist? Everyone, including Sid, Zenon, and the other five Sacred Saints did not notice that it was not because Blue’s attack did not land. Instead, it was blocked by an invisible force. Blue was staring at the small courtyard below with an unpleasant expression. One of his hands was pressing down with all his strength, but it did not work and his giant finger still stood there motionless. Blue knew in his heart that something fishy was going on in that courtyard. However, because David had a system, Blue did not realize anything was wrong.

I can only keep my mouth running, to try and distract myself from it. “That wolf,” I start, voice low. “He looked almost insane. And his eyes—” “Were blue, wasn’t it?” He says, finishing my words. His golden eyes turn to the curtained windows. Between the velvet, a sliver of the night sky shows. And in that sky, gleams a pale, full moon. The light feels almost eerie. “A Blue Moon is approaching.” A Blue Moon? “I’m predicting that it will be within this week,” He says, sighing softly. “I will have to prepare. So will the Beta, and the rest of the warriors that carry Dominance.”

Feeling giddy, Mikayla put on the bracelet and did a little spin for the guests. Cory let out a whistle. “Ben, this must have cost you a pretty penny.” Ben grinned. “All that matters is that Mikayla loves it.” Turning around, Ben walked toward me. He held a smaller carton and passed it to me. “This one’s for you, Kaycee.” I set my drink down and took the box. The packaging was very basic, without even a seal sticker. I peeked inside and found a generic blind-box plushie. It was from an old series that had been popular two years back.

Sean allowed himself the briefest smile, absorbed entirely in the skill on display. Blue responded swiftly. Leo threaded a crisp pass between defenders, stepping back to execute a flawless layup. Two points for blue. His expression remained controlled, polite, but Sean caught the way his eyes lingered just a beat too long, toward the court, toward the plays, toward Sean himself. Yvo noticed immediately.

“I would love to.” After an hour June and Seth were flying towards Blue Lotus. Blue Lotus looked like an ordinary pond to the human eyes but inside the pond there was a large club house under a permeant barrier charm. Seth smiled at the demons who greeted him and June silently followed behind him. Seth led June towards a private room. “Sunflower, met Lady Helianthus.” In the room sitting on a blood red couch was someone the old owner of the body had been dying to met. “May,” June whispered.

Krister asked, looking at his tablet still before walking to the back room. “Black? She doesn’t-- I mean didn’t wear anything else?” she asked, her eyebrows meeting in the middle confused. “Don’t tell me she’s one of those people…” “Yes, specifically black clothing. They’re hot in the day but you disappear in the night. That’s what she always said to me.” Krister disappeared in the back to get something whilst Rojean was left there to contemplate on her own how she was going to pull the act off if she was a bad liar herself.

She blinks and looks at him, “You think so?” He gestures to his own eyes, “Oh.” She looks sad, “Oh, Hon. No. I just mean the blue.” She blinks again and looks up at him confused. He smirks, “They are such a striking blue and I’ve only ever seen the like on Bone-Witches, admittedly they weren’t as nice as you, but that’s beside the point, Hon.” Seb stirs the bags in the large pot, trying to make sure they’re all evenly cooked.

“You mean—as in Jedediah Blue’s branch?” “The very same.” “Your branches don’t talk to each other. For like . . . a hundred years.” “A little longer, but that is true, yes.” “How long have you been in Blueberry?” “Just heading in, actually.” She leaned her head back and closed her eyes again, but her lips curved upward just a hair and stayed that way, even when she winced at the pain. “Something amusing about that?” “Not at all. It’s . . . I just realized that your bombshell is going to be a lot bigger than mine.”
