And then I saw them.
A small, secluded clearing, untouched and forgotten. It was shielded by a crumbling stone wall, vines and moss creeping along its surface. The ground was uneven, covered in patches of soft grass and fallen leaves.
But the flowers—
Spider lilies. Their deep red petals curled in elegant arcs, vibrant against the darkness. Midnight roses, blooming like shadows, their velvety petals absorbing the moonlight. They stood together, wild and free, untouched by careful hands.
