The band clattered into the stone bowl with a sound that made her stomach turn. What lay beneath made her want to cover her arm again on instinct. The skin over her wrist and forearm wasn’t smooth. Silver lines veined up from her palm in thick, branching paths, bright under the surface like molten metal caught just before bursting free. At some points, the flesh between those veins looked thin, like over‑stretched glass. Lysa hissed softly. “That’s… worse than I thought,” she murmured. “Seal’s not just cracked. It’s… filleted.”

Ivy doesn't realize she's doing it; her head tilts to the side, exposing her neck. Vivian pauses with her lips less than an inch away from Ivy's neck. She gives in and closes the distance as her tongue darts out and licks her warm neck. The blood on her neck is cold, but her skin is warm. She feels the vein pulsing under her tongue and groans, wanting to sink her fangs into her flesh and taste her. She's dreamed of it many times. She wonders if she's as sweet as she thinks she would be.

Blaze, gripped by impatience, groaned, "You talk too much. Just do it, Goddammit!" Responding to the exigency, Dexter elongated his fangs with a swift motion, ready to drink from Blaze's neck, but Blaze intervened, "Do you have to feed from my neck? Use my wrist instead." Dexter scoffed, "For someone who is at the brink of death, you are pretty audacious. The internal jugular veins, vital conduits for blood, run discreetly on both sides of the neck. They mirror the path of the carotid arteries, offering a direct route to the heart. If I release the serum into these veins, it would swiftly reach the heart and circulate throughout the body, expediting its effects.

I put my hand on my forehead and waited for everything to stop moving. The black veins caught my eye. They were worse. So much worse. I could smell the luscious life-giving blood underneath, calling to me … I didn’t pause to wonder what was happening to me or what I was doing. Instead, I bared my teeth and sank them into the milky-white flesh of his neck.

It was his tongue! Bleu was using his ti hue to lick me down there. I feel even more blood gather at my chest area and even all the way down to my alps. I thought that I looked flushed before but now, it was like some one had deemed it necessary to pour red paint at different points of my body. “”B-Bleu stop” I whisper as I try to lift myself up but it was to no avail as his huge hand was still holding down my waist and preventing me from being able to move even an inch.

I watched as his tongue gathered the blood and spread it across the veins on my shoulder and neck. This time, the veins extended down my left arm and were more extensive compared to last night. They were fairly extensive this time. That fact alone caused my heart to pound against my chest harder. His canines dragged down one of the thickest veins to get it all. His tongue swept up it, sealing it. It did not feel euphoric this time, thankfully, because it was not the time nor place to get turned on. Walking into the bathroom connecting to the living room next and next to the washroom I stop at the counter. Taking in a few deep breaths I watch how the veins move under my skin turning slightly black. “Is that normal?” Sebastian asked from next to me, causing me to jump a little.

What had once been a faint discoloration had deepened into something unmistakable. A crescent curved along the side of my neck just below my jaw, its edges soft and blurred like a bruise blooming beneath the skin. The color settled into shades of deep indigo and muted violet, darker toward the outer arc, where the shape sharpened into faint, clawed ridges. The curve looked almost like a storm-wind sweeping across my throat. At the center of the crescent, a narrow lightning vein cut downward. It was thin, jagged, pale silver against the darker tones surrounding it. Not bright enough to glow, but bright enough that the shape stood out sharply if someone looked closely.
