Reckless Love
Magda winked and called us to settle under the garden gazebo.
“Mommy, look, bunny,” I turned to see, and there was a fluffy white cloud chapping something in the grass. Without thinking, I ran in its direction and picked that bundle in my hand. It was the cutest thing, and how could I let go? Those black onyx eyes looked so innocent, wrapped in their white, feathery skin.
“It’s so cute, mommy,” I kept it in her lap
“Mommy, it’s so sweet.”
“Can I keep it?” To which I shook my head.
