“Are you blushing, Pretty boy?” Jordan asked, amusement shining through his eyes.
“What?” I raised my hands to my face, temporarily tucking my crutches underneath my arms. “No. I’m not blushing. I don’t blush.”
But my face was downright heated.
“Okay,” he laughed, shrugging. “If you say so. I mean, your cheeks getting all red definitely doesn’t describe blushing, does it? You’re the creative here.”
The sarcasm was loud and clear.
