Her brush slipped on my shirt, leaving a bright straight blue line on my shirt.
“Oh no, I’m so sorry!” she exclaimed, her eyes wide with horror.
I chuckled, trying to ease her worry. “It’s fine. Here, let me help.” I dipped my brush into some red paint and gently tapped it on her shirt. “There, now we match.”
She looked at the red spot on her shirt, then back at me, a playful glint in her eyes. “Oh, it’s on now,” she said, dipping her brush into green paint and flicking it at me.
