She replies, that statement earned her my full attention. “Don’t piss me off, you don’t get to decide that.” I snap. It came out harder than I intended. “This isn’t about defiance, neither is it a punishment. This is your body shutting down while while you pretend it’s a choice.” She laughs quietly and sits up, resting her back against the board of the bed, she wraps her arms around herself and I noticed thin pale lines that looks kind of purplish tucked into the softer skin near her elbow, I didn’t see blood but these lines were just too straight and they don’t seem like accidents. They’re not faded, it’s still a recent.

Brian’s POV Was I dreaming or was she blushing when I praised her. The early morning sun rays filtered through the window and were hitting her hair and face. She has beautiful golden blonde hair and pale pink skin. When she blushed the blood rushed to her cheeks making them a beautiful baby pink. Her lips were so delicate and a bright red even though I knew she was not wearing any lipstick. Her body was thin and lithe with enviable curves at all the right places. She looked like she could have been a supermodel. I could not take my eyes away from her beautiful face.

Gloria examined her damp face closely in the large bathroom mirror, her expression a mix of worry and lingering embarrassment. Her cheeks remained stubbornly flushed with a deep, ruddy glow that refused to fade, no matter how much cold water she had splashed on them. This persistent blush terrified her deeply—she absolutely did not want anyone, especially Lukas, to glance at her and immediately peg her as some cheap, desperate whore chasing after forbidden pleasures.

All of a sudden she felt nervous by the way the woman questioned it. Meanwhile, Michelle lifted her hand and pointed at her face. “You’re blooming,” she chortled. She then touched her cheek and brushed her thumb on it as if erasing something. “You don’t have any makeup but those cheeks were blushing,” she stated while rubbing her thumb and index fingers with each other. Subconsciously, Sabrina cupped her face. Her forehead creases as she thought why would her cheeks blushes naturally. Then, it clicked her. She read somewhere that after doing the deed, women usually glow the next morning.

“Define okay.” They both laughed quietly, and for a heartbeat, everything felt normal two college students, wrapped up in a morning that didn’t care about systems, secrets, or hidden agendas. Then Adam’s hand brushed her collarbone, tracing the faint, silver thread like marks that still lingered on her skin. He frowned. “Those weren’t there before.” She looked down. The lines shimmered faintly in the light, like veins of liquid glass. “They’re fading,” she said. “It’s just… residue. From whatever happened.”

I giggled, sounding like the schoolgirl with a crush that I evidently still was. Ben shrugged. “I’ll tell you what’s impossible: how beautiful you’ve become since I left. Inside and out.” “You’re only making it worse,” I said, feeling like my cheeks were on fire. “You’re cute when you blush.” “Did you know that when you blush, your stomach lining also turns red?” When I said it, I felt like a complete idiot. “I bet you didn’t come here to hear arbitrary medical facts.” I squeezed my eyes shut. “That’s exactly why I came here,” Ben said. When I didn’t open my eyes, he nudged my knee with his under the table. “Seriously, you can never have too many arbitrary medical facts.”

Ashlyn shouted as she pointed out how her mate looked at her but Vladimir just laughed at her reaction. “I am not seducing you, I’m always looking at you, Kim.” He winked at her which made Ashlyn really blush so red. “SHUT UP! YOU’RE MAKING ME BLUSH!” Ashlyn admitted that she was indeed blushing as she started countering Vladimir with the same attacks and powers over it. “Already seeing that.” He taunted more. “WHAT THE FUCK!” Ashlyn went overboard as her redness began to crawl up to her face, especially to her eyes. Without realizing it she was releasing something that Vladimir suddenly jolted at.

I ask him with the intention of taking my mind off certain someone who is still so much focused on me. "You really wanna talk to me?" He questioned, surprised. A hint of red crept on his cheeks and it took me almost a minute to figure out that he was actually blushing. "Oh my god! Are you blushing?" I exclaimed in horror and amusement, covering my mouth with both my palms gaping at him. "Shut up." He scolded and turned in his chair to avoid letting me look at his cheeks. He looks adorable when shy. Blake has slightly pale skin that makes it easy for me to figure out when he is blushing and believe me when I say so, I never ever saw him blushing before. Like never!

I took that hand from my chin and placed it on my chest, for him to feel my heart beat, and then said to him, "So does mine." We both giggled softly, obviously blushing, and I just had to tease him about it, "Did not know you could blush", while smirking. "A lot of things you bring out from me that I, myself, do not even know I could do or was possible", Lincoln muttered and then chuckled softly. "It is cute", I smiled widely at him, blushing myself, "You are cute." We got closer to each other, rubbing our cheeks together softly. We moved slowly. Lincoln hesitated for a moment, and I nodded, letting him know that I wanted this.
