I smiled at her. “It doesn't look pretty when I close my eyes.” She sighed dropping her brush. “But we can make it pretty. If it is not pretty then it is not worth drawing,” I said, pulling her closer to me. Scarlett smiled nodding her head. I took her brush and stretched it to her. With this, she continued to draw. This time, I just watched. My heart was shooting pain to my nervous system. My baby used to draw colourful things. Birds. Barbie. Anything that had colour.

I ask him with the intention of taking my mind off certain someone who is still so much focused on me. "You really wanna talk to me?" He questioned, surprised. A hint of red crept on his cheeks and it took me almost a minute to figure out that he was actually blushing. "Oh my god! Are you blushing?" I exclaimed in horror and amusement, covering my mouth with both my palms gaping at him. "Shut up." He scolded and turned in his chair to avoid letting me look at his cheeks. He looks adorable when shy. Blake has slightly pale skin that makes it easy for me to figure out when he is blushing and believe me when I say so, I never ever saw him blushing before. Like never!

At her question, his eyes crinkled "If that's what you like I will be more than happy to do it" Her heart stuttered, and she flushed again. Talia lost count of times he coaxed that reaction out of her, and she wondered if it's possible to be permanently reddened from blushing. Twisting her head, her eyes fell on the portraits hanging on the wall just above the flowers.

The suit, the pose, the expression… everything was eerily familiar, and I felt a strange sense of pride knowing that I had made such an impression on her. The additional drawings, rendered in black and white, were equally captivating, but one in particular stood out - a portrait of my head, with my eyes being the sole splash of color, shining brightly in a deep, rich silver. It's a woman’s face merged with a mans, he’s sucking her life out of her and replacing it with a blue substance but she has such a real smile on her face and somehow whoever drew it managed to create a devilish smile on the man's face. The only thing that stood out was that while the rest of the picture was perfectly and realistically shaded in and drawn completely, the eyes were left unshaded and undone.

Walking past him, I started towards an unfinished drawing of a woman's face. "This is new." I turned around to face him. "I didn't see this last time I was here." "Yeah," he let out a soft sigh. "It's one of our final projects in school before graduation. I'm trying to make it as artistic as possible but a simple woman just seems too plain." Looking back at the painting, I study the details. Her full red lips, small pointed nose, eyes fallen shut with feathery lashes. Her skin was like a rainbow, colored in several colors. Her hands hugged her bare breast.
