Kiss Me Before The Sky Falls
The gate opened, and the boar charged.
It came fast for something that size, its hooves tearing up the dirt floor of the arena. I circled left, watching its head, waiting for an opening so I could strike.
The boar shot its spikes. They shot off its hide like darts, three at once, whistling through the air toward me and Dorian.
Dorian moved sideways, quick as his fox form allowed, and the spikes missed him by inches, burying themselves on the floor where he'd been standing.
