I had nothing left to lose anyway. Zane unlocked the car and waved me over with a grin. “Hop in. We’ll grab some snacks on the way if you’re hungry.” I smiled back and started toward him. Then I saw them. The four brothers were standing right outside the lot, leaning against their own cars like they had been waiting for me. Reed’s arms were crossed, Jasper’s eyes locked on me, Cole and Kai watching every step I took. My stomach dropped. I didn’t stop walking, but my pace slowed.
