Body Flicker Romane & Geschichten

I glanced up at him, not sure that I heard him right. I glanced over at Tiger and he was still grinning. I gasped. My eyes met his eyes. I saw a shadow of something passing through his eyes, but it longed only for a few seconds that I felt it to be an illusion. I blinked and opened my eyes to feel every essence of what took place a few minutes back. And when I was actually in senses, exit – he exited. He wasn’t there. Flicker! Flicker. Yes, the same flicker. I saw the same flicker passing through his eyes like that day when I was feeling standing by the poolside along with him.

The steady flicker of images cast shadows along the glass-topped desk. I slid into the chair and leaned forward, eyes narrowing as I followed the northern perimeter feed. A flicker. Just the subtlest movement. Too small for the average eye, but not mine. I rewound the footage, slowing it frame by frame. A shift in silhouette. There and gone in seconds. It could have been nothing, but instinct screamed otherwise. I flagged the clip, then adjusted the motion sensitivity by another two notches, setting alerts for even the faintest anomalies.

June took a deep breath, then started to close her eyes again and suddenly she felt the lights flickering again. When she opened his eyes, the lights were back on as usual. The man, whose eyes had just begun to adjust to the total dark, was hit with 800 lumens of flickering intensity. He screamed, dropping the knife and clutching his face, his world turning into a jagged series of frozen images.

He looked at me once, just once, before the lights flickered. Then it went out.

Then it happens. The machines around us flicker, the soft glow of their screens dimming and flaring as though a surge of unseen power has passed through them. The steady beep falters for a breath, then steadies again. I feel Julian’s chest shudder faintly under my hand, a tremor that is small but undeniable. The room goes still.

I clicked into the drive, my eyes darting around it's content, but all I saw was videos "Videos?" I whispered, my heart racing as I clicked on the video The screen flickered to life but instead of a video, I was met with an eerie black screen "What the hell is this?" I muttered under my breath and suddenly the screen flickered to life displaying images of people in a room I swallowed hard, shifting uncomfortably in my seat as I tried to comprehend the scene playing out right before me

Not blinking. Something really isc razy. I feel it deep in my bones.
