"Why are you avoiding talks about the bodyguard? I just told you how he was a pain in the ass but you don't just want to talk about him." "I don't have any business with the bodyguard. He is just a distraction and if he distracts you, you might not be able to achieve our plan. You need to focus on her and not him." He paused and just when I wanted to talk, he beat me to it and talked first.

"To be the bodyguard for the president's daughter!" Being back on duty as a bodyguard inevitably reminded Evander of Elena. Only this time, the client was of a higher caliber. In Evander's opinion, his new assignment was no joke, to be the bodyguard for Catherine Azalea, the twenty-five-year-old daughter of the president. She was a professional model but kept her identity as the daughter of the country's number one a secret. For some reason, she needed a reliable bodyguard. Apart from her true identity, Cathy, as she was called, also frequently received threats from people envious of her popularity, as well as from an obsessed stalker. It wasn't uncommon for the girl to require a police esco

she began, lacing her fingers atop the table. Asher wondered why she had gone through the trouble of doing research about his team. He didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Maybe she just wanted to know more about the person who was going to be her bodyguard. He sat up straighter and nodded. “We’ve had a few interesting cases.” he said. “Ha! Interesting? If I recall correctly, last year one you and one of your fellow bodyguards was instrumental in bringing down an underground drug-running organization that the police had no idea existed.” Kimberly said.

When Calista, the spoilt and pampered daughter of a powerful Greek Alpha, finds her life in the crosshairs of an unknown threat, she’s forced to accept a new bodyguard into her already fortified world. To her, he’s just an overqualified babysitter, another move in her father’s manipulative game. She’s annoyed by his intrusion and the unsettling way he seems to read her like an open book, but also strangely drawn to the man who appears to be her complete opposite.

I liked being around her because she had so many stories to tell me and indulged my guilty pleasures… food I knew I wouldn't be able to eat at the table without Father giving me the stink eye or saying something offensive. JJ as I call her came in just then, looking as stiff as ever. She used to be in the military, a firm believer in playing by the rules, and my oldest bodyguard to date. I always wondered why she never quit like the others. Maybe she just really liked her work. I never could tell. She never really opened up to me. Her real name was Jennifer Jordan, but I liked calling her JJ. I couldn't see myself calling my bodyguards by their surnames like Father did.

The bodyguard was shocked. Seeing that someone had barged in and ruined his plan, he spat angrily, “Who are you?! What are you doing?!” Gerald glanced over coldly, and Connor punched the bodyguard in the stomach! “How dare you! I’m Bernard’s bodyguard. How dare you…! Ah!” “Drag him away.” Connor and Sam looked at each other and quickly made the others leave. Only North and Gerald were left in the warehouse. Gerald took a deep breath and felt a sharp pain in his heart.

“He’s not really a bodyguard. He’s… some kind of big shot. Someone who’s supposed to be way out of my league. But apparently, I’m still way out of his.” Aiden sat quietly as I told him everything, every detail. By the time I finished, his jaw had practically hit the floor. Aiden blinked slowly, once, twice, then threw his hands in the air dramatically. “Well, shit.” “That’s the best you’ve got?” I snapped. “You blindsided me, Alex! I need at least three minutes to digest the fact that your bodyguard is actually a secret big shot.” He paused. “Are we talking government? Mafia? Underground billionaire? What level of deception are we playing with?”

“Bodyguard.” Cassian blinked. Then laughed. “Oh, my father must be livid.” Rowan didn’t respond. He wasn’t here to laugh. He was here to protect something or someone that clearly didn’t want to be saved. Cassian dropped the ice and stood, eyes flicking over Rowan’s frame tall, built, black T-shirt stretched over muscle and discipline. “Not bad. At least they sent someone with arms this time.” “Try anything and I break your arm,” Rowan replied.
