Sunset of Broken Bonds
I looked at her quietly and didn't say a word.
She suddenly laughed softly.
"I knew it. You'll never forgive me. And honestly, I don't deserve your forgiveness.
"But no matter what, whether you believe me or not, you were always the only father I ever had and the only one I'll ever recognize."
After saying that, she slowly turned around and walked away.
I wanted to say something, but in the end, I didn't call out to her.
Affection is like glass; once broken, the cracks remain forever.
