The towns’ people had gotten used to the ghosts following the family members around, popping up whenever and where ever in town. There was a knock on the front door. “Come in!” Brian called out. “Where are you?” Joe called out to his son. “Study Dad.” “Heard you had some complications at the survey this afternoon?” Joe asked and sat down on one of the other rolling chairs, normally occupied by James when he does his planning. Brian nodded.

“Fine,but this is the last one.” Bonnie smirked. “You said that every time and still help me, don't you?” Josh chuckled. “Family love.” --- Later that day, the three were still in the room when Josh’s phone rang. He glanced at the screen and instantly frowned. “What is it?” Evelyn asked. Josh picked up. “Yeah?” A moment of silence passed and then a sharp intake of breath followed. Josh's voice cracked. “You’re sure?” Bonnie and Evelyn were both staring at him now.

"Yeah, he seemed to like it. I don't think he'll ask you to move back. I have no doubt he’ll redecorate." Bonnie frowned a little. "Why? What's wrong with my place?" "It's a woman's home, and he is not a woman." Bonnie wiped some tomato sauce from her lip, smiling to herself. "No, he’s sure not. Those four aren't even men." Her eyes flickered and blinked to the table. "We know men, right? They're more than that.” Joan wanted to tell her about what she’d seen but Bonnie was covering something up and that wasn’t like her. Joan scanned her closely; she’d been trained to spot a liar and she was looking at one now. “Is that all, Bonbon?” she asked, carefully.

The last time she saw her was ten years ago. Bonnie's deadbeat father left them so Lionel took her mother in as a cook. Bonnie wasn't the typical girl, and it was a plus that she wouldn't be caught dead in heels. So Alice took a liking to her and they bonded. They did everything together and even though she didn't agree with Lionel's mental control on Alice, she supported her before every mission.

Fay said to her with a smile when she opened the door and was surprised she didn't let her in, rather, she closed the door behind her and walked outside with the shawl. "You are supposed to be asleep" Fay said. "Umm, yh, but not anymore, dad's back" Bonnie lied. "Ok, lemme go say hi to him" she said making way to go inside but Bonnie stopped her. "Ahh, you see. You can't go in, we are having a family meeting and I think dad had a bad time at the station today. He doesn't really wanna see anyone now" she lied again. "Ok?" Fay said and shrugged.

She lashes out, “You should remember you're just a nobody in New York. My family's been here for generations, running things. You're throwing away my family for some cheap hooker. You think you can handle the fallout?” Ryan scoffs, his eyes like ice. “Whether I can handle it or not, ask your dad. Besides, you're not the one who represents your family, you know? Enough talk. Get out, or I'll have someone drag you out.” Ryan realizes he's been way too nice. If he wasn't giving Bonnie's dad any respect, she wouldn't be walking out of here in one piece. Bonnie's seriously scared he'll have someone haul her out of there. “Humiliated” wouldn't even begin to cover it. So, she storms out, fuming.

It had been devastating – until, totally out of the blue, Joe had showed up at her parents’ house and ended up staying over New Year’s. Releasing a shaky breath, D opened the next folder. Looking at the list of numbers before her, she tensely steered the mouse almost all the way down: Jack, leaning against a tree and eating a banana, Tony and Kim hugging in the background. Probably one of the first times Tony had brought his girlfriend along. Next photo: Herself sitting on a bench, a sandwich in hand, and Joe leaning over from behind the bench, pretending to be clawing for her sandwich.

Something about it was nostalgic. After taking one last look in the mirror, Bonnie headed downstairs. When she turned the corner into the kitchen, she saw Dylan and his grandfather sitting at the round, white table at the far end of the kitchen. They sat next to each other, with the newspaper opened up in front of them on the table. Both of them had a cup of coffee in their hand, and they were laughing to themselves as they read something in the paper. “They’re going to make it to the series, PawPaw,” Dylan said. “They’re a hell of a team. Ever since they got that new pitcher, they’ve been unstoppable.”

Bonnie asks, oblivious to the awkwardness surrounding the question. " Uncle Marshall liked Aunt Gianni?" Penny gasps out in surprise. " That was a long time ago." Aunt Kathy laughs, trying to end the questioning but Bonnie didn't get the message " He sure did Penny, I remember how he would always follow Gianni around the place, it was always such a lovely sight. The two were always so inseparable, I really thought they would end up together, but I guess I thought wrong. He was such a lovely child anyway. Bonnie answers with a smile on her face. " How is he, is he back in country X too?"
