She looks confused at me. "Who are you, and what are you doing on my grounds?" I growl. I know I sound more scary than I meant to sound. She looks like she is going to run away. "My name is Bonita Clarkson. I used to be Luna of the Black Raven Pack. As you can see, I have been kicked out of the pack," She answers. Bonita, what a beautiful name for a beautiful creature like her. Even though she's full of blood and her clothes are torn, she is still a beauty. Oh, great. Now my wolf has me thinking like this. I cannot think of this child as my mate. Am I crazy?

She lifted her teary eyes to me, her face red and blotchy from crying. "Kaiden… I think Miss Bon Bon is dead." Her voice trembled, breaking on the last word, and my heart ached at the sight of her misery. Raya loved that rabbit more than anything. She spent every morning feeding it, every afternoon playing with it, and every night making sure it had enough blankets in its little wooden hutch. It was her best friend, and now it was gone.

But the spark pulsed once—playful reminder. Bonnie leaned back, staring at the fogged windows. City lights blurred outside. She traced the glow with one finger. Warm. Alive. Watching her back. “What are you really?” she whispered, voice quieter now, almost scared. We are the Honeyswarm, they answered, voices overlapping like a warm hug. Instead of dwelling on what Griff had done to me, I would focus on extracting every ounce of information from the bastard before it was time for us both to return to Hell. She laid her head against me and I felt her calm down. “You see beautiful, I will keep you stable. I will keep you calm.” I told her and I kissed her lips once again. It was dark in the park and the only light that shined was the moon. Sadie stood up and looked at me. She smiled and then she turned around. She closed her eyes and all of a sudden. Butterflies came down to us from the trees. They flew all around us and even landed on me. It was a beautiful sight. I knew Sadie was doing this and I just couldn’t see how they thought that what she could do was scary or threatening in any way. She came and set back down next to me and smiled.
